This is curious, but Birth Eater was wonderfully dark and emotional

The sample video they posted on Facebook sounds vaguely like Radiohead to me.

this band has had the biggest identity crisis of any I've ever seen. [2]

The Tide still stands as one of my favorite albums ever.

Maybe to distance themselves from the chavy UK clubs?

Isn't there also a German pop artist with that name?

Oceana was at least a serviceable name. The fuck is this Polyenso shit? Meh. Best thing this band ever did was that short ep when they started doing non-core.

Probably so that Spanish artist or whatever she is doesn't show up when you Google their name.

Cool to hear they're still doing new stuff. Clean Head was pretty awesome.

Yeah there's a German singer named Oceana. Polyenso sounds fine to me. Album's gonna rule.

The toughest thing is probably changing their page's band name. Both of their album's have their old name on album covers. But it's better then making another page.

What a fucking stupid idea, Polyenso sounds like an undiscovered species of Platypus or a Pokemon that is a Platypus. Birthearter was a great album and I want them to follow in that direction but with the new name I doubt they will.

good question^.

Also,
I'm pretty unhappy about this, not because of the name, but because I thought Birth.Eater was pretty good. It was overproduced, but songs like The Family Disease were very good. Not a big fan of this new stuff, not necessarily cause its bad, just cause now they're clearly not going to make a new metal album.

It's good damn it, I hate how people got 'em confused, especially since Oceana was around first. Or, at least I think so.

I saw these guys live not too long ago in Orlando. I had a conversation with the lead singer and he said they are changing their sound. They want to do an indie-ish rock vibe sound. Oceana isn't who they are anymore...and they were getting a lot of flack from old fans who had not heard of the new ep or new sound.

I don't know how I feel about this. I liked The Tide when I used to listen to it...kinda forgot about this band until now. At least they're changing their name too instead of changing their sound and completely alienating their old fans
