Well that was.. interesting.

| |
Holy fuck this band is so serious now
|
| |
I liked it too. If they trimmed off every other song (roughly) it could have been solid and a nice step towards their Infected-Chuck days, but Whibley just has to have his ballads
|
| |
Band sounds like mcr now.
|
| |
when is jenuary happen?
|
| |
Songs not bad but album was average
|

He's still butthurt that Avril left him
|

That would make me feel worse, it's like an ex girlfriend becoming a lesbian, like "damn that guy is a step up from me fuck"
|
| |
did anyone else feel like they stole that opening riff? that or its extremely generic.
this sounds like a very poor man's MCR. extremeley alike with MCR actually, wow
|
| |
They got older, that's why they are more serious
|
| |

according to the cross hanging from the rearview mirror, he was a Christian man. Maybe sum41 is making a statement about religion, and shovels.
|
| |
This suuuucks
|
| |
Just play "Fat Lip" and shut up.
|
| |
I loved the fuck out of these guys back in high school.
|

A few things:
1. Interesting video. Not the greatest crafted story in a video ever, but for what it is, it works.
2. Derek is rocking his haircut from 2001?
3. "Screaming Bloody Murder" was MUCH better than "Underclass Hero", but the album will never be able to top "Chuck." That being said, this was one of the better songs from the album, there is a better one though...
4. "Skumfuk" in my opinion, is the best track on the album. The dynamics, melody, and overall feel is incredible. So, I was of course a little peeved when they put a sample from the song in this video. THAT should have been the next single, not "Blood in my Eyes."
|

Well that was.. interesting. (2)

Just play "Fat Lip" and shut up. (2)

am i the only one who thought of "Master of Puppets" during that opening riff?
|
| |
Believe me 'cause now's the time to try
Don't wait, the chance will pass you by
Time's up to figure it out
You can't say it's too late
Seems like everything we knew
Turned out were never even true
Don't trust, things will never change
You must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
R.I.P. Sum 41
Chuck we hardly knew you
|
| |
What the fuck?
|
| |
Just play "Fat Lip" and shut up.
Best comment I've seen in a while

"Am I the only one who enjoyed this album?"
no, i liked this album a lot. people just generally look for reasons to write this band off or say that all they do is rip off other band's styles, but screaming bloody murder actually had a wide variety of songs and basically only the title track had a considerably basic song structure for a punk band. and i really don't see (aside from maybe the vocals) the mcr references. the solo bit and breakdown in this song are far heavier than mcr.
|
| |
nah, they ripped off a bunch of better bands, especially mcr (even though they only have one good album to begin with)
|
| |
Job for a Cowboy video was better
|
| |
This is actually good, compared to most they at least, have progressed
|
| |
I'm sure that radio part at 1:06 is from Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I know I've heard it somewhere before....
|
| |
"Jenuary 2012", typo spotted.
|
| |
this sounds like a very poor man's MCR
The only people that listen to MCR are kids (I hope) and they're all poor.
