Played sir.
|
| |
sweeet
|
| |
I'd rather get a new complete song lmao...or just the album to come out already
|
| |
Telling you now, Depraved Mind Murder sounds sooooooo good.
|
| |
Agreed but the choruses on New Messiah and Difference Engine sound bloody excellent.
|
| |
Is it me, or do these chorus' sound so much more melodic than usual?
|
| |
In some respects, I think it's to contrast the far harder grooves on this one (I think the main influence on this album is Pitchshifter which explains a lot). Don't think it's a bad thing though.
|
| |
It's anything but bad, sounds sweet.
|
| |
The album reviews so far haven't been all spectacular(like mechanize). I'm anxious :s
|
| |
I read one and they rated it 4.5/5.
It's gonna rule, don't worry.
|
| |
Human Augmentation will be the best song on the album
calling it
|
| |
New Messiah or Depraved Mind Murder fo sho.
Human Augmentation sounds beastly, though.
|
| |
Of course it's gonna rule...
|
| |
GODDAMN IT, JUST FUCKING LEAK ALREADY.
|
| |
Was worried, but this sounds good so far. Leak pls [2]
|
| |
I've heard the album five or six times now and it's definitely heavy and their most diverse (without ever getting into Nu-metal) and their most industrial. Might end up being my favorite (although it's hard to beat Soul Of A New Machine).
|
| |
I'm pretty damn jealous, FUCK.
|
| |
Nice, gonna be cool
|
| |
any 8 strings again Willie? Mechanize was one of the best songs they did in a long time
EDIT: God Eater has jun jun junjun jun. Epic
I read that the drums were programmed, wonder who will do it live
|
| |
^ Mike Heller is currently the bands touring drummer
|
| |
sweet
|
| |
God Eater is like Fear Factory meets Godflesh. One of my favorites of the album. As for the programmed drums, if they didn't tell you that they're not live, you'd never know.
|
| |
Where we're going, we don't need samples
|
| |
Have you listened yet, Dev?
|
| |
I miss Hoglan
|
| |
the drums sound great to me,
stoked for this album
|
| |
The opening track starts with just double bass and the drum-sound & pattern is near-identical to Demanufacture.
|
| |
fucking great... one question, imma virgin here and i need to put an avatar, how does it work?
|
| |
I miss Hoglan
herrera>hoglan for this band
savaah you gota change it on the forums
|
| |
Their most industrial Willie !?! Really ? I'm surprised.
|
| |
hoglan is beast
|
| |
woop woop gonna be at least OK.
|
| |
--Their most industrial Willie !?! Really ? I'm surprised.--
Really, smartass? Do you think that just because the name is in the album title that it means anything? Do you also believe it when these bands say that their upcoming album is the best so far and is easily their most heavy yet the most melodic too, while being back to roots and pushing boundaries at the same time.
|
| |
herrera>hoglan for this band
This. Hoglan is great (obviously), but Herrera's talents lend themselves to the industrial machine-like nature of the band
Have you listened yet, Dev?
I gave the promo a quick once over, but not enough to have an opinion on it yet. But I will!!
|
| |
Willie you took as a sarcasm something that was actually an honest surprise. I really thought that even though the album was called The industrialist it wouldn't be that much on the industrial side. That it was just some way to reassure the fans. Because I didn't think Mechanize was industrial enough.
I'm rereading my post and it is funny how much it sounds like sarcasm but it was totally innocent. I was surprised at the word "most" when I expected it to be shy on the industrial part.
And I actually wanted you to develop. Like, why is it the most industrial ? Because I'm happy to hear that it is and I trust your opinion on that.

Fear Factory sucks
|

^ Get out
|

ah ah ah, you cannot attack fear factory without meeting the wrath of the linchpin313. He is the way, prepare for salvation.

God Eater sounds sounds really good. Thought this would just be Mechanize part two, but it seems I might be pleasantly surprised.
|

There I was in my local CD shop. I needed a new CD really, really badly, but I wasn't sure what to buy. To make matters worse, my brother was hurrying me up, and pushing me toward a Dark Tranquillity album. Five minutes later, the band name Fear Factory caught my eye. I had heard many good things about them from assorted sources, so I decided to pick up the remastered version. But enough about how I got the disk. It's time to get started on the review.
