This, to me, sounds like the best album they've ever done. Like a cross between Chaosphere and I.

I haven't listened to much Meshuggah, but I think I will check this one out.

This album should sound even better to you (if you're into Metal) since you haven't really heard much of their previous work, the reason is that they are slightly guilty of sounding roughly similar on each release. This Message Edited On 02.28.08

This, to me, sounds like the best album they've ever done.

Hands down, I agree! They seem to have alot more diversity on this album while some of their older stuff had a alot of monotonous riffs on it.

i agree. also, for once it sounds like the music flowed with the vocals. nothing and catch 33 often felt like the vocals are on top of the music and not in it. here it all seems to come together.

Also, Dancers of a Discordant System could be my favorite Meshuggah song yet!

^^^ Truth. Thankfully.

Fuck me, ObZen - I'll review it when it comes out. Been listening to it for a long time and as far as I'm concerned, it's everybody's fave oxymoron - instant classic.

Looks like this is going to slay judging by Combustion, Bleed and obZen (really don't want to listen other than these before I get the real deal lol).
