X Japan Post New Song + Shows

2007-10-20 by Oblivioncry | 7 Comments
According to the production notes for Saw IV, which is due for a October 26, 2007 release, the group is going to contribute a song titled "I.V." (published through Extasy Music and 901 Highland Music) to the movie's soundtrack.

The Song will be the Main theme, but will not included in the OST. The Song is entirely in English.

X Japan will perform in front of an audience on October 22 in Aqua City, Odaiba. The promotional video for I.V. will be filmed that day.

They are also to perform at the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, an annual music show on the New Year's Eve.

Wow, I never expected them to do something for a film like Saw, but who am I to complain about them being back! I heard they were using touring guitarists, have they decided on a single guitarist or are they still just using a bunch of them to replace HIDE?

On the upcoming Tour hide will be replaced but many different guitarists, but i am betting on Sugizo (ex-Luna Sea) being the main replacement.
Maybe Yoshiki has something totally new in his sleeves
