It's solid but nothing crazy, not in love with it lol

good enough song but id take like all of s/t + deluxe over it. lowk feels like they j wrote it on the spot to promote this tour
didnt really like the electronic intro as all their electronics continue to sound clunky af to me. hope they get better at that if they keep wanting to do that. i did dig that they decided the natural pivot of the snowblood tremolo harmonic picking was to throw it into the chorus of this tho lol

Ya it does feel like something they just whipped up lol

The first seconds made me instantly think of Come Alive from The Jezabels and now i want new The Jezabels.
|

Definitely sounds like a song they just came up with on the spot. No heart or soul
Not bad but prob will never listen again

ive put in like 20 ish listens of this as i do lol mostly in search of what isnt working for me and a lot of it is the vocal lines. verses have some cool patterns but feel kinda aimless and the chorus is on the bland side for them.
jt/jesse and prod sound good (for the most part. the synths are blocky as hell and jt doesnt sound great in the chorus imo) and its pretty heavy which is fun but i j dont rlly hear the passion in this one

The intro to this was great, sounded like a Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis game level or something. Kind of wish that melded with their sound throughout the track. As for the song itself? The musicianship in ERRA certainly can't be questioned, but the random nature of the song's writing doesn't do it any favors. Feels as if it was thrown together quickly versus going through a few revisions. One of those listens where upon completion remarking, "cool", and moving on.

boring as expected

This is one of my favourite songs since the release of the S/T

Reminds me of Neon but actually a bit different. I like this. Don't get the hate. It's still brimming with talent.
|
| |
think "hate" is the wrong word since its still pretty cool but when an erra song drops that doesnt instantly blow me away i cant help but be a lil like "ah damn"
