Your personal opinion doesn't matter when it comes to whether a band is a 3.8 sputnik band or isn't one. Their highest average is 3.9 and lowest is 3.7 with a bunch of 3.8s. Never heard of them before but the band has obviously hit the Chevelle chord.

The only thing I don't like here is the drumming. Same issue I had with their Rush covers. Ruins the main groove. Otherwise the vocals and guitars are pretty neat.
