Swift releases title track

2019-08-16 by Sowing STAFF | 22 Comments
With one week remaining until the official release of Taylor Swift's seventh album, Lover, the title track as been made available for all to hear.

"Lover" - co-produced by Jack Antonoff - continues the colorful and romantic themes of 'Me' and 'Archer', marking a stark contrast between Reputation and Lover's pre-release vibes.

Lover will be available via Republic Records for purchase and on major streaming platforms August 23rd.

I've liked every single released so far. I think this will be much closer to 1989 than Reputation.

it's...alright. maybe it'll grow on me (if i ever hear it again). so far the only single that has left a positive impression, or any kind of impression, is "you need to calm down". but this aint bad either

'I've liked every single released so far. I think this will be much closer to 1989 than Reputation'.

Totally agree.

And there wasn't a news article about it here, but 'The Archer' was a fantastic single. I could easily see Carly Rae putting out a song like that, and Carly Rae is the bee's knees

Every single from this album has been absolutely atrocious, how can Antonoff be so good with Carly and so horrible with TSwift right now.

Because Taylor Swift is atrocious regardless of the producer.

Eh, much better than either of the first two singles but I'm still not loving this. It has potential but the chorus and second half kinda kill it for me.

Eh. Not impressed. Needs a Playboi Carti verse.

Uh, was really hoping for a new Swift record... like... the band that wrote Waging War.

I actually really like this one. Best single so far. Hard to say how the album will end up.

I really don't understand the people saying the chorus on this is atrocious....i mean what words are left to describe anything off of Reputation then? This song is fine. Its nothing special but its not bad by any means.
