2017-05-28 by Nat S. | 19 Comments
Gregg Allman, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, has died at the age of 69.

Allman's manager, Michael Lehman, stated that the keyboardist and singer passed away peacefully at home in Savannah, Georgia, despite having had to cancel recent concerts due to health issues. His last album, entitled Southern Blood, is set to be released later this year.

"I love to play music for people who appreciate it. When it's all said and done, I'll go to my grave and my brother will greet me, saying, "Nice work, little brother—you did all right."
