AJJ stream The Bible 2

No longer edgy band AJJ (formerly known as Andrew Jackson Jihad) are streaming the entirety of their new edgily titled 6th album 'The Bible 2' on Bandcamp. Their latest effort appears to continue their step away from the band's folk-punk roots, following on from their last album.

I still can't believe what huge fucking babies all of you people are being re: their name change. No one says you have to agree with the politics behind their choice, but the petulant whining is straight up embarrassing

bunch of manchildren yeah

their name change would literally have 0 effect on the quality of this album, why does anyone even care.

Especially on their FB page when they first announced it. Yikes.

And yeah, album is a disappointment regardless of name. Christmas Island was miles ahead of this.

I would give less of a shit if they didn't deliberately name their new album something provocative.

I'm not overly invested in this band, but from a neutral point of view, I view the name change as utterly pointless. It's an acronym that stands for the old name. If you have qualms with your name and don't like it anymore then by all means change it, but -actually- change it. Same goes for TTNG, but to a lesser extent cos their new album isn't called The Bible 2

I watched the FistfulOfVinyl interview of Sean Bonnette and I'll always like that dude and his band.

Same ol' recycled themes with even less energy. The album with the bunny on the cover is still the best they've done, so I think that Sean Bonnette guy should just publish a poetry book or something...be done with it. sheesh.
