wow the single is super weak. S/T is one of my favorite albums, but with every release it seems like they're trying to find new ways to get away from that sound.

nah their first three albums sounds very similar but this is the most obvious departure from that sound yeah

that's true con, i'd say the main difference is his voice. There's an inflection on S/T he does that I love that he didn't do too much on Of All Things and he practically did away with it on Never Hungover. Also the guitar tone on S/T is just flawless for what they were going for to me
