Armenian jazz icon Tigran Hamasyan has quite recently announced the release of his sixth studio album, entitled Mockroot. The record is expected to be released on February 3rd 2015, and will be the follow-up to 2013's critically acclaimed Shadow Theater.
With Mockroot, the pianist will continue with his typical take on modern jazz, blending influences from Armenian folk, progressive rock and electronic music, among others.
