could be much worse

Adele should win and probably will.
|
| |
Wild Beasts's Smother, where are you?
|
| |
Go James Blake!
|
| |
james blake ftw!
|
| |
Said it already, but Blake should get this
|
| |
King Creosote/Jon Hopkins should be winning this.
Surprised that Radiohead weren't included tbh.
|
| |
Must still be waiting for part 2 before they dispense with the accolades
|
| |
Tinie Tempah? Really?
|
| |
^ and Katy B really don't belong here
|
| |
what where's opeth
|
| |
Ghostpoet - Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam
Gwilym Simcock - Good Days at Schloss Elmau
Errrrr..?
|
| |
Ghostpoet is awesome
|
| |
I haven't listened to any of these albums in their entirety except PJ Harvey's, which I've played into the ground.
So it'll seem ridiculous when I say I hope she wins, because that's a great album.
|
| |
Ghostpoet could be awesome, I don't know. I was just picking up on them being very unknown compared to Katy B, Adele, Tinie Tempah, etc..
|
| |
They always throw in some obscure curveballs, and they occasionally win, eg, Speech Debelle.
List's pretty poor to be honest. Wild Beasts is a glaring omission and I'm surprised that Arctic Monkeys, The Horrors and WU LYF aren't there either.
From those that have been nominated, PJ Harvey's album is easily my favourite, though James Blake and Adele would be worthy winners too.
|
| |
No love for Elbow? James Blake should and probably will win this.
And Dev I agree Ghostpoet is awesome
|
| |
even though i'm a big Elbow fan and enjoyed Blake's album, i think PJ deserves to win
|
| |
I swear I'm the only guy in England who thinks Elbow are shit
|
| |
Anna Calvi's album is good, but not so good as to be named album of the year by any stretch of the imagination. The same goes for Elbow, Everything Everything and Metronomy.
|
| |
Serious lack of Wild Beasts here.
|
| |
hughes, while I wasn't really a fan of the Anna Calvi album, I actually think she is a huge shot to win this.
Having said that, she is way under the odds.
|
| |
I quite rate that Metronomy disc too. Big step up from their fairly average first cd.
|
| |
james blake ftw! [2]
|
| |
@Titan
Nah. There is at least one more of us.
