Illinois post-hardcore quintet The Color Morale have posted a new song entitled 'Human(s)being' on Facebook.

I love We All Have Demons but I hope their other stuff will be a bit better than this...
and the fact that Legend was a guest vocalist made me rage

I like the sound these guys have going for them, even though I didn't dig Demons too much.

However, this new track is impressive.

I gotta check this out soon...I thought their debut was pretty solid.

I grew up playing shows and going their shows (even before they were the color morale) so I kinda have a soft spot for em too.

well, I guess I have to hear the rest of the album to be sure but it's a little heavier than their old stuff too and I like that better.

Their old stuff felt a little dry, this is pretty damn good. I can't wait to hear the rest of this CD to make a decent comparison.

from what I hear this is a pretty great song, though.

Do people actually think this is better than their last album? This sounds so similar to that Woe, Is Me-esque sound that's become popular lately. I can hardly tell the difference between this and Confide's new album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9qDeUEXtS8

It's not a bad song, but I'd rather listen to anything off their last album. And what's up with the vocals? They were excellent on We All Have Demons and they sound incredibly generic here.

I didn't like this at first, but digging it more as I listen to it.

However I feel like Garret's cleans lost a little bit of the umph they had back on We All Have Demons.

this and:

I don't see where they need two clean singers (the deep shouter joining on cleans), when the one on the old record was great enough. Afaik he (the 2nd dude) was doing the clean job alone.

I'm really not sure where I stand at this point, it's all so....

I don't know, reserving my judgement for CD Drop. I can't base anything off of one song, soooo very ignorant of me if I do.

I've concluded this song sucks. They say their record WILL be diverse and their LAST main single (Hummanequin) was pretty lame, too. So let's cross our fingers.

I agree with Hummanequin sucking (What is with this band and humans?).
I'm definitely liking the energy of this new song. The clean vocals are a little weaksauce though. Pretty decent overall. I will be interested to hear the rest of the album.
