His Haunted Shores vocal performance wasn't bad. He does kind of irk me though. Something about his voice, or maybe even the vocal production, is just a little bit off.

instrumentally these guys are okay (if you really like meshugguh or somethin) but the solos are really boring and technical just for the sake of it and that singer is pretty lame

it's true to a degree though. the more mainstream an artist is the less sputnik seems to like them. now, that doesn't apply to this at all since periphery isn't popular at all.
