Three Cheers was sick, great guitar and vocal work. I've heard the album took so long because they threw out the first version and redid it.

i thought this was supposed to be a normal rock album. That title sounds like another concept album to me.

Famous Last Words was the only song I liked from The Black Parade, "IBYMB,YBMYL" is my favorite album
by them, and Three Cheers was pretty good also.

I think it sounded pretty cool, but I agree, it's not at all what I was expecting.

Should be interesting to see what they come up with. Their live gigs especially are probably going to end up intentionally campy...but fans of IBYMB, YBMYL and Three Cheers won't be happy at all.

It's been like a zillion years since these guys did anything, so FINALLY, tho Black Parade was somewhat interesting but a lot of fail compared to Three Cheers (one of my favorite albums). I loved the Black Parade, it was an epic album, there was a couple songs that were just annoying, but i looked past that...HEY LOOK A LOAF OF CHEESE!

I wouldnt get all worked up about the title. I personally like it. I think most people are expecting them to make music like their old stuff, but this new album is supposed to have a pop feel to it. They originally started producing an album with Brendan O'Brien, but have since scrapped that album and restarted with Rob Cavallo. It is supposed to have a Sci - Fi theme to it and is post apocalyptic. Give it a chance, and expect the unexpected.
