Sleater-Kinney Reunion in 5 Years? 2010-03-23 by Prophet178 | 6 Comments | In a recent interview Sleater-Kinney frontwoman Carrie Brownstein addressed the
possibility of a reunion with her band, stating:
"Janet [Weiss], Corin [Tucker] and I are still great friends. And we will probably do something. It's so intense, that band. We spent 11 years committed to that band, heart and soul. To get back into it we have to be in that place where we can immerse ourselves fully. I think it will happen. We have to loop around, and we're at the far end of the circle, away from the band, but I think we will come back and revisit it. And hopefully that record will be sometime in the next five years.
Sleater-Kinney has been on hiatus since the release of The Woods in 2006.

This is a band that just gets better and better...I was gutted when they went on hiatus...but if it takes 5 years for their album to come out I know it will be worth the wait...and if the world end in the mean time...at least I will have lived the final 2 1/2 years of my life with one more amazing thing to look forward to.
