Soilwork – Spectrum of Eternity

——————————————————————————————————-

Soilwork will be releasing their latest album, The Living Infinite, on February 27 in Asia (via license to Marquee Records), in Europe on March 1, and in North America on March 5 through Nuclear Blast Records. Holy shit, is the first thing that comes to mind. It’s a double album and the first single is actually really good. Is there hope for this band? You decide.

Well that was unexpected. I enjoyed that a lot. Although I much preferred the keys part to the guitar version of it

ViperAces

song was good, i guess, better than the latest single
the production and the screams kinda bring it down though

found it pretty boring tbh and all the praise they quote in the video is kinda annoying

Who put you in charge of blog guidelines? The blog is whatever the staff wants to use it for. Don't be a bitch :)

I really like this song andI really want the album to be good. I'm not sure they have enough great material to fill two albums but it's probably safe to say that there will be some gems in there if nothing else.

Not trying to be. I just feel like there could have been more to it, like what exactly do you like so much about this Soilwork song that separates it from the other songs people seem to find repetitive and lacking diversity?

Also come to think of it, I'm now curious about what you have to say about it being a double album

Soilwork are pulling a Abigail Williams to try and be relevant when they've sucked for more than half a decade.

"Soilwork are pulling a Abigail Williams to try and be relevant when they've sucked for more than half a decade." True, but this song is still awesome.

Haven't had anything to agree with all day until now.

Fair enough. I really just don't have the time these days to do much.

^Really? My favorites will always be Chainheart Machine and The Panic Broadcast

KjSwantko

This actually wasn't bad at all. Soilwork hasn't played anything like this in a long time.

Curse.

what the fuck is TPB doing as your favorite?

KjSwantko
01.14.13
Chainheart, Predator's, and Natural Born are the only good ones really. Panic Broadcast is decent, but nothing more.

FrozenVain

I agree with KJSwantoko.

Well, it's a decent album, and that's pretty much all this band is capable of producing
