Brokencyde: Like a Bullet to a Head
Everyone will agree even me that Brokencyde is a disgrace to the music industry they a glamorized look at the failed attempts to fuse genres in this case Post-Hardcore and Rap indefinitely named Crunkcore which in it self makes you cringe when you hear it, it is complete and utter failure as a genre in layman's terms it complete crap it makes me sick that it even exists in the music industry with their vulgar 6th grade grade toilet humor that only prettied up scene kids listen to.
scene kid = boy/girl. usually seen wearing neon colors w/ black. leopard and/or zebra print obsessed. hair colored at least 2 different colors and cut at different angles. male scene kids usually try to attain over 500 friends on myspace and post pictures up of themselves making out with other boys. female scene kids just ADORE neon colored eye shadow and wear one thousand layers of eyeliner. hair of both sexes is usually parted to the side. Yes the old scene kid the cause of Brokencyde if the scene kids didn't exist Brokencyde wouldn't exist or just be some other nu metal band or post-grunge band. This bands lyrics are misogynistic and they just talk about anything that has to do with drinking, drugs, and sex which a lot of people are up for but the people who love at least 2 out of 3 of those things probably still think Brokencyde would be the worst addiction to have. Brokencyde provides a bleak outlook on life that can never be put into perspective Brokencyde is the bullet in the already dead horses head.
I doubt parents enjoy hearing their kid listing to the lyrics:”I walk into the club looking kind of sexy now. I see these shorties in the corner, they started making out. They pull their panties down, they take their pants off. Then they started getting freaky on the dance floor. Shake it mommy give it to me like you need some love. These lyrics seem to just ooze profanity it is no wonder other bands don't just lynch Brokencyde and save themselves several more years of bad music. I know I'm right because every parent would agree with me that Brokencyde is base, vulgar, and very very misogynistic thats all they talk about in there music is getting in on with a girl or getting drunk with a girl.
The next song is skeet skeet which is basically a really bad knock off of a Lil John song very very bad song it almost makes me nauseas as I listen to it, the lyrics are more of their typical horrible demeanors on girls and more getting drunk.
I'm not saying I don't listen to suggestive music most of the stuff I listen to is 20 times worst than this but it's their musical abilities that disturb me it causes me to think the music industry is slowly killing it self and it is self evident that it is the dumbing down of the music industry is really not we need we don't want people thinking any band can just have there break just because they can scream into a microphone and use auto tune to make their crappy voices better. We need bands with singers that can actually scream and at least the singer or a back up singer that can actually sing. The lyrics are a problem too Brokencyde's lyrics are just atrocious it really makes me lose hope for music when I listen to it Brokencyde belongs to a short but long line of crunkcore bands EX. Breath Carolina, I Set My Friends on Fire, and many others but even these bands are maybe 5 times better than Brokencyde.
In closing Brokencyde is a very terrible band I find no humor in their lyric they just make me think of how bleak society is and how messed up the music industry is some one needs to put a stop to this horrible music that basically is a description of todays kids “bad taste” thats all I have to say it's just bad tates.
