 | The Halo Effect March of the Unheard eh its kinda mid, new in flames album was better | 3.5 03.20.25 | | Hololive Idol Project AyaFubuMi - Sleepless Songbook This EP is a ton of fun with lots of variety guided by a theme of some traditional japanese instrumentation with various modern genres. Every song feels unique and has its own hooks, the three talents play really well off each other. Its just a great time to spin this one again and again. | 4.0 02.24.25 | | Hololive Idol Project ORIO - Over Time Great short EP from two of holo's most unique and powerful singers, featuring three very dramatic and boppy songs that wouldn't be out of place on any of the respective talents own albums. I think the production could definitely be better but the songs themselves are fantastic. | 4.0 02.24.25 | | Omaru Polka Filmy Funny I think you need to be in a very specific mood to really enjoy this album. Thankfully I finally find myself in such a chipper, upbeat, yes almost manic mood tonight, and this album finally clicked with me. Yeah my mood really wasn't great lately, go figure. Anyway, this is kind of an incredible piece of art. Just pure polka insanity and chaos and it all melds together into a coherent amalgamation of omaru polka that is an absolute joy to experience when IN DA MOOD! Also very commendable that there is not a single older song on here, she literally didnt even post a promotional single before this album came out. A rare thing these days where mo | 4.5 02.18.25 | | Suisei Hoshimachi SHINSEI MOKUROKU If Pathfinder wasn't the opener, this might've been a 4.5 for me. Pretty much every other song on the album I really like. The decision to open with that turd drags this album down quite a bit. I dont even dislike the instrumental on that song and the chorus is also pretty neat and great in a live environment but the millenial chanting just completely ruins it for me, no matter how many chances I gave it. Anyway, other than that the album is fantastic and more consistent in quality than Specter. The production quality is phenomenal and every single song is unique and stands on its own. Suisei has truly arrived in the mainstream and I'm absolu | 4.0 02.17.25 | | Shirakami Fubuki FBKINGDOM "Blessing" This album has grown on me so much. Started out as a 2.5 but there really are quite a lot of great songs on here. Granted there are still a couple of bland jpop tracks and the rather horrendous Supernova, which opens up the album, just like its cousin Pathfinder on Suisei's new album. Those two together with some of the tracks on last years Hakos Baelz album really paint a worrying trend of millenial/contemporary pop garbage music that I just can't get behind, no matter how many times I give those songs a try. Highlights on this one include the always infectious and classic Say!Fanfare! from 2020 (that was actually one of the first hololive o | 3.5 02.16.25 | | Tabahi Thrash for Justice good energy, good riffage, good grooves, all around very quality thrash album with a great runtime. would jam again. | 3.5 02.15.25 |
 | OmairSh Doing well my brother. How about we banter in this thread. Search for the Band Tabahi, album is Thrash for Justice. You might enjoy this album, its a Pakistani thrash band thats got the old school style with modern production, and I?ve been jamming it heavily. Recommended it to some other oldies like us but the thread is a bit quiet atm haha. I?ve linked a couple of songs in the comments if you?re curious about the sound

 | OmairSh Haha yeah I had been MIA for a looong time, then was lurking in the shadows. Been a bit more active now, and it?s good to see the old guard around
