Neofolk Curiosities: Second Volume

The second part in an ongoing series of celebrating neofolk music. As opposed to the first collection, this second volume covers more ground on neofolk-adjacent stuff. The first four early entries on this list are considered as influential (albeit to varying degrees) on the later neofolk sound, style and aesthetic. The remaining entries are loosely ranked from well-known staples to lesser-known gems. Just like before I’ve adopted my broccoli rating scale: 3 broccoli’s equal great, 4 excellent and 5 essential.
