Slayer has three good albums in the ocean of derivative bullshit that is their discography. I haven’t even listened to enough Anthrax to say anything about them, never felt compelled to which should be damning on its own. And don’t call me based art you don’t know what my favorite slayer albums are lmao. Personally, I’d take Seasons in the Abyss, South of Heaven, and God Hates Us All over the rest of their discography. Reign in Blood is fine but I really think that record just didn’t live up to the hype by the time I finally listened to it. The rest can eat shit, it’s either fucking terrible or just a worse version of Reign in Blood. |

That seems to be the consensus for a lot of people, but I've never agreed with it. The song is energetic, explosive, and (despite many IM members disliking the track) a perfect way to introduce the Dickinson era imo |
