The problem with post hardcore as a strict genre is that it got to a point where it was bands building off of other post hardcore bands that never really had the hardcore roots in the first. Idk, it's a crazy wide genre is all. But for me, I'm never strict with labels anyway. I never listen to something and say shit like "oh I can't listen to this bull shit, that's not REAL *insert genre of purity here*". |
