My In Flames LP Ranking

In Flames is one of my favorite bands, considering i'm pretty young, 20 that is. Also im from Germany and my english is not perfect in any way, so please excuse me for that. :) I only heard Lunar Strain once and I don't have it in my collection, so i don't implimented this record in the ranking. Edit (02.07.2014): Finally, I received my copy of Lunar Strain and Subterranean (both Limited Edition). Edit (02.09.2014): After repeated listens i would put Lunar Strain between Come Clarity and Sounds Of A Playground Fading.

Clayman

Every song on this record is amazing. Especially Pinnball Map, Clayman, Suburban Me and Only For The Weak which probably is my favorite song from In Flames.

Colony

This album is as good as Clayman, just no flaws.

The Jester Race

More oldschool sound than Clayman and Colony and I love it. But this album had not that much listens from me and i think it still grows on me. Classic album, I don't have to tell.

Whoracle

Amazing guitar harmonies and with Dialogue With The Stars one of the the best instrumentals I've ever heard.
Edit (1.13.2014): I think these four first LP's are on the same level of greatness for me. Especially Whoracle has grown on me the last couple weeks.

Reroute To Remain

This was the first album I've heard from In Flames and it grabbed me instandly. I still listen to it frequently. And with Free Fall it has the most catchy song I've heard from In Flames together with Only For The Weak.

Come Clarity

The most metalcore'ish album from In Flames and it took some time to grow on me. I still don't like Sceam that much but over all its a very good release

Sounds Of A Playground Fading

I like this album. Its far away from their old style but there are some songs on it that I really like. A New Dawn for example. good tenth release from In Flames but I hope the next one which will be released in March 2014 will be better :)

Soundtrack To Your Escape

Hm. This album has some good songs like My Sweet Shadow, Evil In A Closet or my secret favorite Superhero Of The Computer Rage but over all not that outstanding.

A Sense of Purpose

Year my last favorite album and I'm probably not alone with this opinion. It was the first album that In Flames released since i discovered them and of course I wolfed it but after a while some songs have become annoying to me particually Alias. I still like I'm The Highway, Move Throug Me and Condemned though.
