Berlin is a new wave/synthpop band from Los Angeles. Formed in 1978, the group had some mild success throughout the 1980's, only to disband in 1987, towards the peak of their career. In 1997, Berlin reformed, and have been touring quite regularly, as well as sporadically releasing new albums. In 2012, the group released its seventh album, Animal, which was their first original album in nearly a decade. In 2019, they released their latest studio album, Transcendance.
