The Devin Townsend Project is the current vehicle for the work of Canadian multi-instrumentalist Devin Townsend.The first four albums of the DTP are a quadralogy of different musical styles, viewed by Devin as a personal journey shown through music. The first two albums, Ki and Addicted, were released in 2009, with the final two albums, Deconstruction and Ghost, released in 2011. The next album, Epicloud, was released in 2012. Z2, a double album featuring Sky Blue and Dark Matters (the sequel to his 2007 solo album Ziltoid the Omniscient), was released in 2014. It was followed by the release of Transcendence in 2016.
