I can not stand music that goes nowhere. On Gangrene, one second we have a blistering riff, then a graceful piano interlude, then strings, then etc... What does it all amount to? Nothing! Nothing but a garbled mess of music. Gah, it's so pointless... you want your music to support a theme, but Mirrorthrone won't have any of that. As a result, this is barely memorable, just snippets of music thrown together. Brutal tryhard eclecticism. |
