| It feels like a continuation of Sky Void of Stars, albeit more proggy and way less hooky. The guitar work remains compelling despite Anders' departure, so I think they can safely go on. There's a couple more surprises here, like Wind of No Change's relative structural tightness despite the record's general tendency to drag, that sweet transition from Temporal to Departure Trails, and (finally!) a new song in Swedish (Efter Solen), which feels like a worthy successor to Vakaren. A solid record overall. |

Very groovy, not as immediate as their other albums but definitely more experimental. The
production is much better than on Apple of My Eye, I'm glad that Hazuki is more present in the
mix and that there's more clarity to it in general. |
| Nemophila Apple of My Eye |
| EDIT: This one's a big grower. The mix still feels cluttered with synths and Hazuki isn't as audible as I'd like her to be, but the songwriting is as varied and catchy as ever, and the band does a great job at mixing their hard rock, hardcore, nu-metal and traditional Japanese influences. Error Detection and Anatadare (the transcription of the 9th track's title, as far as I'm aware) are top-tier Nemo cuts. |
