5.0 classic
David Bowie Low
David Bowie The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
Ziggy Stardust is the 1970s version of Michael Jackson's Thriller, but with more content and no child molesters. It's a pop classic that also serves as a fascinating concept record. Ironically, nearly none of my favorite concept albums are by progressive rock performers, who, as a cliché goes, appear to own the theme album concept. However, this is not the case. My favorite concept album, despite its fantastic guitar playing and unusual topic, is Lou Reed's Berlin, and my other favorite is Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, which, despite its excellent guitar playing and distinctive premise, is as pop as it gets.

Twice Formula of Love: O+T=<3
The CD mix is fantastic. It's undoubtedly one of TWICE's best albums, with a diverse range of fantastic songs. In songs like Hello and Cactus, they try new ideas, while in others like Moonlight and The Feels, they stick to what they've done before. There is something here for everyone! It's also fantastic that they opted to add four full English songs on the album as a present to their western fans, which they didn't have to do, but which their followers notice and enjoy. Overall, I adore everything about this. TWICE's music is always a one-of-a-kind experience.

Death Grips The Powers That B - Part I: Niggas on the Moon
The idea of the band using Björk's vocals to write songs is a novel gimmick, and the album thankfully capitalizes on it by delivering largely terrific tunes. Up My Sleeves, unfortunately, is a weak start to the album. They're just too out there and unusual for the sake of being weird, in my opinion. It's a little annoying to listen to. Thankfully, they return with Billy Not Really, a collection of largely outstanding experimental hip hop tracks. Overall, a good album.
Death Grips No Love Deep Web
The famed experimental hip hop group delivers yet another masterpiece. This album's production, in contrast to The Money Store, is a lot more vacant and haunted in a nice way. It has a very different atmosphere than The Money Store, and I think the two records go well together. Ride's flow is even more abrasive on this record, with some of the most raw-sounding lines heard in any hip hop release. With tremendously great drum beats that complement each song well, Zach Hill truly shows off his talent here, especially on tracks like World of Dogs and Lil Boy.
Death Grips Exmilitary
In many ways, this is a badass record that feels punk. I believe Death Grips, the album's makers, are heavily influenced by punk rock's sound and ethos. Aggression, and occasionally even guitars. I discovered that one of the members of this band actually plays the drums on this, which is refreshing because most "rap" unfortunately lacks that. This isn't even close to rap, and I'm not sure what else to call it.

Playboi Carti Whole Lotta Red
One of the most mind-blowing albums of all time, but not one to be consumed in a single sitting. Sometimes I had to take a step back from my headphones because I simply needed a break. The wow factor.
Playboi Carti Die Lit
It's ridiculous to claim that any record is "perfect." There is no such thing as a "perfect" CD; everyone makes mistakes, and that is part of what makes music so enjoyable. "Die Lit" is arguably the closest any hip-hop album will ever come to being "perfect." Beats, production, and lyrics are all minimalist. "Wow" is the only word that comes to mind when I think of it. Carti presents his effortless, superb lyricism, which embodies the old "rockstar" attitude of not caring about anything. Even Travis Scott brings his A-Game, and none of the features fail to deliver (who I fucking hate). All of this is accompanied by Pi'erre Bourne's strongest production to date. This is just incredible. If you don't like this album, I'm going to bully you...

Death Grips Government Plates
The album is uneven between Death Grips classics, loaded with noise and intensity, such as "...Pillbox Hat" and "Birds," all of which are strong reasons to award this album a good rating. It's sad, therefore, that the rest of the track listing feels like Death Grips being extremely comfortable in their intensity of simply being 'yep, that's noisy, drop it' rather than attempting to be innovative and redefine their noise like they tend to do on practically every new album.rGovernment Plates is a decent Death Grips release, though not one of their finest.
