5.0 classic
AC/DC Highway To Hell
AC/DC Back In Black
AC/DC Let There Be Rock
B.B. King Lucille
One of the finest albums (blues or not) that I have listened to and I had so much fun listening to it. The titular track is beyond amazing. I mean how many times have you heard a song where the musician has a conversation with his guitar and the guitar speaks back???
Black Sabbath Paranoid
Blue Oyster Cult Secret Treaties
Bob Dylan The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan Blonde on Blonde
Bob Dylan Highway 61 Revisited
Boston Boston
Death The Sound of Perseverance
My personal favorite by Death and also my favorite Death Metal album.
Death Symbolic
Deep Purple Machine Head
Deep Purple Deep Purple In Rock
Dio The Last In Line
Dio Holy Diver
Don McLean American Pie
A perfect album by Don McLean, both musically and lyrically. And I have toadmit that the lyrics are out of the world. One of the rare albums for me where I can't choose favourite tracks as they all are heart touching.
Dream Theater Images And Words
Electric Light Orchestra Out of the Blue
Out of Blue manages to hand around the same theme but create versatility out of it. It is one of those rare albums where it is difficult to choose one favorite song. The album is full of uplifting songs that makes the listeners feel real good.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer Brain Salad Surgery
Haken The Mountain
Iron Maiden Powerslave
Powerslave is one of the most energetic and perfect albums I have listened to, yet. From start to finish, the tracks do not lose their momentum and grasp the attention of the listeners. The production is excellent as well.
Jason Becker Triumphant Hearts
This album is a triumph over musical field and feelings. Beautiful melodies bring about a soul warming experience while listening to almost the entirety of the album. My only complain goes to a couple of tracks near the end of the album, which aren't bad at any regards, but just not on par with the rest of the tracks of the album. Hold on to Love, Once Upon a Melody are the standouts from this album whereas the cover to Blowin' in the Wind is a gem itself.
Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick
John Coltrane A Love Supreme
This album is to music what Godfather is to movies. It is an essential gem in the world of music, regardless of genre, and no true musician can deny that.rThe bass, piano are amazing. But special shout out to Elvin Jones. When these three are playing, it is like a heavenly musical fusion going on. And then the saxophone kicks in, and further drives the music to a whole new level.
Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison
Joni Mitchell Blue
Such an angelic and soothing voice and such beautiful lyrics. I had such a wonderful time listening to this album. It might be the best solo album from a female artist that I've heard yet.
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures
Judas Priest Painkiller
Judas Priest Sad Wings Of Destiny
Rarely you find something so good that you find no words to explain how amazing it is. I'm awestruck by the awesomeness of this album. I had a total eargasmic time listening to this. All the band members have played their hearts out but a special shout out goes to Rob Halford for the mind melting vocals. Recommended Tracks:rVictim of ChangesrThe RipperrTyrantrIsland of DominationrGenocide

King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
King Crimson Red
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin IV
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin II
Megadeth Rust In Peace
Michael Jackson Thriller
Motorhead Ace Of Spades
Undoubtedly,a classic. Not even a single song is boring. Energetic performance throughout the album that keeps the listeners rocking! rRIP Lemmy! Born to lose, Live to Die.
Opeth Damnation
Haunting, melancholic and melodic...perhaps one of the best albums I have listened to. Definitely worth the time.
Ozzy Osbourne Blizzard Of Ozz
Pearl Jam Ten
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon
Pink Floyd The Wall
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd Animals
Prince Purple Rain
This album is one of the invaluable gems of the 80s'. One cannot simply point out a bad song in this album. All of them are exceptionally good. Although a couple including "Computer Blue" and "Baby I'm a Star" fall on the decent line, they do not take the charm away from the album and are good in their own rights.
Radiohead OK Computer
Rainbow Rising
Ramones Rocket To Russia
The best Ramones album and one of the best punk rock albums. It has tons of amazing tracks to rock to.
Rhapsody of Fire Symphony Of Enchanted Lands
I love this album. And this may be one of the rare power metal albums where I like all the tracks especially Emerald Sword, The Dark Tower of Abyss and Riding the Wings of Destiny.
Rush Moving Pictures
Santana Santana
Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas Flood
The Beatles Revolver
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Beatles Abbey Road
The Beatles Rubber Soul
The Jimi Hendrix Experience Axis: Bold as Love
So many jawdropping mind melting songs. The only problem I have with this album is its too damn short!!!
The Moody Blues In Search of the Lost Chord
The Who Who's Next
Tool Lateralus
Van der Graaf Generator Godbluff
This is no bluffing, this piece of art is actually one of the finest prog albums that I have ever heard. Jawdropping performance by the band members. Each and every song is amazing.
Wishbone Ash Argus
Yes Close to the Edge
One of the finest prog albums I have ever heard. Undoubtedly, the Magnum Opus of the band.

4.5 superb
Alice Cooper Killer
This album is a "Killer" hard rock album. The band members slay with their performance and there is rarely a grave moment in the track. Favorites include: Under my Wheels, Desperado, You Drive me Nervous, Dead Babies and Killer.
Billy Joel The Stranger
Black Sabbath Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath Master of Reality
Killer riffs and killer songs. Every song is beyond amazing. Classic. Although "Solitude" was my least favorite track among them.
Blue Mammoth Stories Of A King
Budgie Budgie
Awesome band. Awesome Album. This album is lit!! Every heavy metal and hard rock fans should give it a try. Massively underrated.
Caravan Caravan
The album was the result of the band borrowing equipment from Soft Machine. And what an amazing album they have put forward! One of the most enjoyable prog albums from the 60s that I have heard yet. No technical wankeries, no 10 mins long keyboard solos that go nowhere, this album has solos and instrumentations precisely as long as they should be.
Creedence Clearwater Revival Green River
Deep Purple Fireball
Like the name suggests, this album is a fireball of classic rock music. From rock classics like Strange kind of Woman to country influenced track like Anyone's Daughter, this album has got them all. The only weak points are the title track, The mule and No One Came, thor
Def Leppard Hysteria
This album might arguably be the best album put forward by the band. Almost every single song is outstanding and remarkable in its own way.
Dire Straits Brothers In Arms
Staple of awesome rock music. So many beautiful and melodious songs that give orgasm to the ear. Simply majestic. Mike Knopfler is a genius!!
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
This album is one hell of a musical journey. From start to finish it is full of excellent musicianship. "The Spirit Carries On" and "Through Her Eyes" are my top tracks from this album.
Foo Fighters Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace
Genesis Nursery Cryme
A magical mysical tour that one simply doesn't want to be ended.
Jethro Tull Aqualung
Johnny Cash American IV: The Man Comes Around
This album is full of moving and dark songs and covers which challenge or surpass their original counterparts.
Johnny Watson Blues Masters: The Very Best Of...
Journey Escape
A near perfect album, Escape by Journey provides some really amazing "escape music" to the listeners. Steve Perry is undoubtedly one of the greatest singers in the world.
Judas Priest Screaming For Vengeance
Starts off with a high note with a mind blowing intro but struggles to keep the epicness midway through the album. But again the band picks up their pace and prove that they are but the only Metal Gods.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin
Mastodon Leviathan
A modern classic with heavy riffs and mindblowing drums. Blood and Thunder, Megalodon are amonst my top from this list. Though I gotta give Hearts Alive another listen.
Metallica ...And Justice For All
mewithoutYou [Untitled]
mewithoutYou delivers one of the most vivid albums of 2018. All the band members have solid performances but the drums really stand out for me. All the tracks kept me entertained through, although my favorites were 9:27 am 7/29, Winter Solstice, Tortoises All the Way Down, Wendy & Betsy and New Wine, New Skins.
Michael Jackson Off the Wall
Michael Jackson Bad
Michael Jackson Dangerous
Mogwai Les Revenants
Mothership High Strangeness
I feel this is an outstanding album. Enjoyable enough for a full listen through. Personal favorites include Ride the Sun, Helter Skelter and Speed Dealer. Really loved the guitar and bass. However, I have to admit, although the vocals were good, they still sounded a little off from the music and the album did feel a little unoriginal a couple of times but they can be ignored beneath the rock monstrosity the band has created in this album.
Muddy Waters Hard Again
An essential Blues album. Such beautiful guitar works and so many bluesy tracks...
Ne Obliviscaris Urn
Maginficent. Melodic, technical and prog at the same time. Intra Venus and Eyrie are masterpieces here.
Nirvana Nevermind
Plini The End of Everything
If anyone has a doubt about the musical genius of Plini, make them listen to this EP. An eargasmic ride.
Plini/Sithu Aye I
I couldn't choose a single most favorite track from this album because all of them are really amazing. Left me wordless.
Porcupine Tree In Absentia
Queens of the Stone Age Villains
Ramones Ramones
A very important album in Punk Rock History, with punk classics like Blitzkrieg Bop, Judy Is A Punk and I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend.
Roger Waters Is This The Life We Really Want?
Rush Permanent Waves
Rush has this unique sound. The music is very complex but still they sound so happy and positive. Loved every minute of the album. Worth it.
Slayer Reign In Blood
Soundgarden Superunknown
Such a powerful album...You don't always get to listen to classics such as this. Great effort by every band member which the listeners can "feel" in the tracks.
Symphony X Paradise Lost
Ten Years After A Space in Time
This album deserves more recognition. With awesome talent, the band delivers us this gem with amazing songs like "I'd Love to Change the World", "Over the Hill", "Let the Sky Fall" and "I've Been There Too".
Thank You Scientist Terraformer
It was a very enjoyable album with amazing tracks back to back. But sometimes, the tracks may feel a bit too stretched and sometimes like the tracks are lacking emotions.
The Beatles A Hard Day's Night
The Doors The Doors
Hell of an album to make a debut. Outstanding musicianship with amazing tracks like Break on Through, I Looked at You, Light My Fire and The End.
The Kinks Lola vs. Powerman and the Moneygoround
There are not a lot of albums where you find every song to be amazing and enjoyable. However, Lola vs. Powerman and the Moneyground is one of those albums. It's raw, fastpaced and highly enjoyable.
The Stooges Raw Power
The Velvet Underground The Velvet Underground
This is one hell of a soothing album to listen to exceptions include What Goes On and Beginning to See the Light, which are much more energetic , and included in my favorite tracks off this album. Other favorite tracks include Pale Blue Eyes and After Hours.
The Who Tommy
The Who Quadrophenia
Uriah Heep Salisbury
Van Halen Van Halen
One Hell of a debut album. If a band releases a debut album like this, that band is sure to achieve fame in no time. With mindblowing guitars by Eddie Van Halen, explosive drums by Alex Van Halen, exotic vocals by David Lee Roth and groovy bass by Michael Anthony comes this album that delivers a unique sound that will be attached to the band. Hard to pick favorite tracks but I'd go with Running with the Devil, Ain't Talking About Love, Eruption, You Really Got Me, Jamie's Crying and Feel Your Love Tonight.
Van Halen II
An impressive follow up to the debut album with some insane jawdropping guitar work! Stand out tracks include "Dance the Night Away", "Bottoms Up!", "Outta Love Again", "D.O.A.", "Beautiful Girls".
Voivod Nothingface
This is one hell of a kick ass album with so much virtuosity and vividness. Missing Sequences, Into My Hypercube and Sub-Effect are the tracks I loved the most.

4.0 excellent
AC/DC Powerage
Powerage is perhaps one of the most underrated albums by AC/DC. "Riff Raff" is now among my favorites of AC/DC and Rock n' Roll Damnation is really growing up on me. This album also features some of the most diverse drumming in any of the AC/DC albums. However, the ending, though quite good, was not on par with the beginning and the middle of the album.
Aerosmith Rocks
Amazing album with sound reminiscing of old school rock n' roll. Almost every track is outstanding in its own right. Amazing vocals by Steven Tyler in this album.
Aerosmith Toys In The Attic
Every track from this album is outstanding in its own rights. Amazing guitar work by Joe Perry, so many rocking riffs. The production and performance in this album is phenomenal.
Alter Bridge Fortress
I didn't love this album and I didn't get the feeling of holding this album dear to me. I don't know where this problem arises but probably from the fact that I didn't find this album mind-blowing or very special at all. rThis doesn't mean that the album is bad. It has got amazing tracks with powerful performances from Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti. Scott Phillips puts on a decent performance on the drums but I didn't like the snare sound. And I didn't notice Brian Marshall at all. Some amazing tracks include "Cry of Achilles", "Fortress" and "Addicted to Pain".
Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
What a strong debut album...makes you wanna dance and rock about at the same time. So many amazing tracks and such an outstanding performance by the band.
Bad Company Straight Shooter
The quality of Straight shooter is suggested by the title of the album itself. This is a power packed second album by Bad Company with very strong performances from the band members, and specially the vocalist Paul Rodgers. Apart from this, I really liked the tone of the guitar which is raw and bluesy at the same time.
Beck Sea Change
Innovative, unique and lyrically poetic. These are the words that can be used to describe this album, but still it would be an injustice as this much praise is not enough. The songs have a gloomy and depressing feel about them and along with the music and lyrics, take the listeners to one hell of a musical journey.
Billy Joel An Innocent Man
Black Label Society The Blessed Hellride
Different and good do not come often in the same package. But it is not the case in this album. With a unique sound, BLS brings a thoroughly enjoyable hard rock/groove metal album. My favorite tracks include Stillborn and Dead Meadow.
Blue Oyster Cult Agents of Fortune
Camel Camel
Excellent musicianship and instrumentation. Vocal is good and so are the bass and keyboards but to me, the guitar and drums stole the show. The songs are unique in various time signatures. Despite having keyboards, they do not sound like the many keyboard driven prog bands of the 60s and 70s.
Camel Moonmadness
The exceptional musicianship from the band brings about a calm and soothing environment in this album. The best track probably is the instrumental "Lunar Sea" among other amazing tracks.
Cream Disraeli Gears
Daft Punk Random Access Memories
Doesn't feel like mainstream music. The album feels matured than their previous works. By the way, My name is Giorgio Moroder but my friends call me Giorgio.
David Bowie The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
This album acts as the sole example to show the versatility of David Bowie. Starman is one of my all time favorite songs.
Def Leppard Pyromania
Pyromania is an amazing and energetic hair metal album, but unfortunately slightly misses the mark to rock the place to the ground. It has got classics like Photograph and Rock of Ages but also there are couple of boring songs that just don't do anything.
Duran Duran Duran Duran
A very strong debut album by Duran Duran that I feel is very underrated. It has got some amazing tracks like Girls on Film, Planet Earth, Careless Memories and Night Boat. The entire album is a fun ride.
Elton John The Captain and The Kid
Beautifully written and wonderfully sung. "Just Like Noah's Ark", "Blues Never Fade Away", "I Must Have Lost in on the Wind", and the Title Track are some of my personal favorites.
Elvis Presley Elvis Presley
An amazing album but unfortunately not all the moments stand out.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer Tarkus
The title track is amazing and is a must listen for all prog rock fans. Amazing musicianship throughout the album.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer Emerson, Lake & Palmer
This eponymous debut album by ELP is undoubtedly a prog rock staple but it is far from being a perfect album. The 1st is very strong with tracks like "Take a Pebble" and "Knife Edge". The 2nd half feels quite weak as compared to the 1st despite Greg Lake and Carl Palmer showing off their skills and virtuosity in "The Three Fates" and "Tank". "Lucky Man" is an equally powerful acoustic ballad.
Fleetwood Mac Rumours
This pop rock album by Fleetwood Mac is one of the best 70s Pop Rock albums. With sounds mostly dwelling on the soothing aspect of pop rather than the more upbeat one, the band manages to create a unique atmosphere and quality only heard in Fleetwood Mac songs. Favorite tracks include Go your Own Way, Don't Stop, The Chain and You Make Loving Fun.
Frank Sinatra Frank Sinatra Sings for Only the Lonely
An astounding performance from Frank Sinatra with soothing jazzy vocals throughout the album. My favorite tracks include "Only the Lonely", "Willow Weep for Me" and "One for My Baby".
Genesis Duke
A very underrsted Genesis album. Yes, it has pop driven soumd but it still is on a different level. Phil's vocals are just so soothing.
Gentle Giant Gentle Giant
An outstanding debut album and a must listen to all prog fans. "Nothing at all" is my personal favorite track from this album, especially the drum solo which blew me away.
George Harrison Cloud Nine
Perhaps one of the best solo albums by Harrison. This album has got it all, with songs full of blues and feels to songs full of fun and rhythm. A very enjoyable musical journey.
George Harrison Living in the Material World
One of favorite albums by George Harrison. "Who Can See It Now" and "Try Some Buy Some" were my favorite tracks from this album.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
This album has the ability to take the listener to an adventurous musical journey while creating an ambient atmosphere at the same time.
Grand Funk Railroad Closer To Home
This album makes one feel closer to home (whose home is rock n' roll). Captivating music with amazing tracks like Nothing Is Same, I Don't Have to Sing the Blues and Closer to Home.
Haken Restoration
Haken Virus
Horrendous Idol
The musicianship in this album is absolutely mind blowing and over the top. I would have rated it higher if not for the vocals which sound like a squealing pig at times (It is just a personal preference that I didn't actually love the vocals). There are tracks that I loved including The Idolater, Devotion and Obolus.
Hugh Laurie Didn't It Rain
Iron Maiden Piece Of Mind
Super energetic and lore-based songs! That's what Iron Maiden is all about and it delivers on the album. Personal favorites: Where Eagles Dare, The Trooper and Flight of Icarus.
Jefferson Airplane Surrealistic Pillow
Kansas Point of Know Return
King Crimson Islands
Kunek Flight of The Flynns
A Highly underrated album that deserves way more recognition. Recommended tracks include : We Have Become, A Sign of Life, As You Were and Coma.
Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin III
Leonard Cohen You Want It Darker
Mahavishnu Orchestra Birds of Fire
Mastodon Cold Dark Place
A cold dark place that I would love to visit again and again. "Blue Walsh" is amazing. and the ending is beyond spectacular.
Mercyful Fate Don't Break The Oath
Mercyful fate bring their 2nd studio album which is heavy, dark and has almoat everything a heavy metal album should have. King Diamond's vocals sound amazing most of the times but sometimes they get a bit weird. The production is decent but could have been a bit better. "A Dangerous Meeting", "Desecration of Souls", "The Oath" and "Come To The Sabbath" are my absolute favorites from this album.
Michael Jackson HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I
Misfits Beware
Great EP with fun and energetic tracks. Enjoyable throughout.
Motorhead Overkill
Full of raw energy with a badass, heavy sound that will leave you headbanging.
Mountain Nantucket Sleighride
Such an amazing performance by all the band members. It is a criminally underrated album and deserves more attention.
Muddy Waters After the Rain
Nas Illmatic
The first rap album that I have listened to the full and enjoyed every minute of it. The lyrics are over the top, exploring social issues with vocals that sound raw and rebellious. Favorite tracks New York State of Mind, Memory Lane.
Nazareth Hair Of The Dog
Paolo Nutini These Streets
Paul Gilbert Fuzz Universe
Wildly entertaining. The title track is mind blowing and another great track is "Olympic". This album really needs more attention/
Paul Kossoff Back Street Crawler
So glad I discovered this album. This album is a gem. Every rock fan should give it a listen!
Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother
Sounds like 70s movies soundtrack, very different from typical PF albums that everyone knows about. But still it is quite enjoyable and has a soothing and calming atmosphere.
Porcupine Tree Deadwing
Rivers of Nihil Where Owls Know My Name
The album feels very fresh with lots of energy from the band members. The sax bits are really beautiful. Biggest complaint about the album is that there are a few tracks and some bits in some tracks where it feels very generic or bland.rFavorite tracks: "The Silent Life", "A Home" and "Subtle Change"
Robert Plant Carry Fire
Rush Hemispheres
Sam Cooke Ain't That Good News
Sam Cooke is the wielder of a powerful and soothing voice which he displayed throughout the album. 'A Change is Gonna Come' is a genius and spiritually mesmerizing track
Scorpions Crazy World
Ranging from kick ass rock songs like Tease Me Please Me and Don't Believe Her to beautiful Rock Ballads like Wind of Change and Send Me an Angel, Crazy World is a must listen album for any Scoprions or rock fans.
Simon and Garfunkel Bookends
A fantastic album with outstanding
tracks like Old Friends, Mrs. Robinson
and A Hazy Shade of Winter.
Slayer Seasons In The Abyss
Seasons in the Abyss is a metal monster that starts off with epic tracks featuring blazing riffs and blasting drums. But the album strays off the path of epicness when it reaches the middle act and remains there without lifting and reaching the level in the sky where it previously soared.
Social Distortion Social Distortion
Solid album...although it does get somewhat monotonous at the later half.
Spock's Beard The Oblivion Particle
Hell's not Enough, Benneth built a time Machine, The Centre Line and Disappear are the tracks that I felt stand out the most in this album. Some tracks feel like they have been unnecesarily elongated. Not all the band members get to shine with their instruments in all of the tracks; a feat only accomplished by "Disappear" in the entire album. Overall, it is a very enjoyable album with decent effort by the band.
Stealers Wheel Stealers Wheel
Steven Wilson To the Bone
Steven Wilson Grace for Drowning
Grace for Drowning is rich in both music and emotions. There are moments when you want to rock out and moments where you just want to lean back and rethink your life. Recommended tracks include: Deform to Form a Star, Postcard and Raider II.
Streetlight Manifesto Everything Goes Numb
Not a big fan of Ska at all but this, this album I like. It is super fun and gets the listeners cheered up in no time. Stand outs for me include "Everything Went Numb", "Point/Counterpoint" and "A Better Place, A Better Time."
TesseracT Perspective
Testament The Legacy
Testament is an essential band in the Testament of Metal and their Legacy is cemented by this album. With amazing metal tracks from the start to the end of the album, the band never stops their musical assault. The outstanding track (for me) include Over the Wall, Burnt Offerings and First Strike is Deadly. Shout out to Alex Skolnick for such a mind blowing guitar work.
Thank You Scientist The Perils of Time Travel
A thoroughly fun and enjoyable album...Really loved the jazz fusion bits.
The Alan Parsons Project I Robot
A criminally underrated album "I wouldn't want to be like you", "breakdown" and "I robot". The instrumental parts are beyond amazing.
The Beatles Please Please Me
The Cure Disintegration
Disintegration is a beautiful, melancholic and atmospheric. Some recomended tracks are Pictures of You, Lovesong and Lullaby.
The Mothers of Invention One Size Fits All
The Police Synchronicity
The Rolling Stones Beggars Banquet
A classic album by the Rolling Stones, with amazing tracks like Sympathy for the Devil, Street Fighting Man and so on. Although it does stagger a couple of times in its path, it still is an outstanding and thoroughly enjoyable album.
The Spacelords Water Planet
That's some pretty amazing Krautrock music. Has its flaws but they are overshadowed by the cosmic music and the ambient environment created by it.
The Velvet Underground Loaded
Thouroghly enjoyable album put forth by this band.rFavorite TracksrSweet JanerRock & RollrWho Loves The SunrOh! Sweet Nuthin'
The Who My Generation
U2 The Joshua Tree
Uriah Heep Outsider
Uriah Heep ...Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble...
I was only seventeen when I first heard this album. My friends told me it was amazing. And it really is. "Gypsy", "Walking in Your Shadow" and "Real Turned On" are among my favorites from this album.
Van der Graaf Generator H to He, Who Am the Only One
Wings Band on the Run
One of the best solo Beatles album and arguably McCartney's best. The album starts very strong with amazing tracks like Band on the Run, Jet, Bluebird, Mrs. Vanebilt but falls a little short in the mid half of the album.
Yes Relayer
Yuri Gagarin The Outskirts Of Reality
ZZ Top Eliminator
Fun album with some amazing tracks like "Gimme All Your Lovin", "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Legs" and "Got Me Under Pressure". Remaining songs act as good support.

3.5 great
AC/DC Ballbreaker
I personally liked this album. I feel that it is quite different from the typical ACDC albums. The riffs are complex and the licks in between the tracks are noteworthy. The guitarwork by Angus Young is as phenomenal as always. Songs like "Hard as a Rock", "The Furor", are some of my favorites from this one. One can appreciate the blues influence in "Boogie Man" and "Honey Roll" and they are quite awesome too. And "Hail Cesar" feels like a throwback to the Bon Scott days.
Ace Frehley Trouble Walkin'
Didn't expect the album to be this enjoyable. It is much better than I expected it would be. However, there are still flaws and some places you may feel like there are missed chances.
Alice in Chains The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here
A solid album with outstanding tracks like Voices, Lab Monkey. Its not the same without Staley and there are a couple of dull and un-innovative tracks. Still the album is enjoyable and shouldn't be left out by Alice in Chains fans.
Alice in Chains Jar Of Flies
It indeed is a great album but I didn't get the all time greatest EP vibe from it. "I Stay Away" is my favorite track from this entire album and maybe I'd stay away from other tracks as well except I'd give "Nutshell" another chance.
Audioslave Revelations
The final album by Audioslave is energetic throughout its run never losing its momentum along the way. The only problem is that the momentum is constant and there is no change in their momentum as consistency may be boring in some cases. The album doesn't have any bad tracks some are average, above-a erage but there are some that really stand out like Original Fire, Sound of a Gun and Broken City .
Ayreon Actual Fantasy
Great album! I really liked the addition of electronic music at times. The guitar and keyboard are exceptional! Great composition in their part. Drums are okay. What I didn't like was the vocal in some of the tracks. They sound really monotonous. Also, another problem is monotonisity in a couple of the tracks, despite their long duration, which makes them really boring.
Baroness Yellow And Green
A highly enjoyable album but with very less replay value. The vocals were decent but was nothing out of extraordinary and even at some points they were off putting, for me.
Bjork Homogenic
First Time listening to Bjork, and I must say that I am perplexed by the quality of music here. Although I loved the environment of the album, I must say that I didn't get the feeling of giving it a thorough listen again. The track I loved was "Bachelorette".
Blizzard Hunter A Lesson in Time
A delight which I enjoyed listening from start to finish. The vocals are solid. "Outrage" was the standout track for me. The covers in the album are pretty decent.
Bob Marley and The Wailers Catch A Fire
I haven't listened to many reggae albums, but this seems to be the most enjoyable experience yet. Whenever I think of reggae, I think of calm and soothing environment and this album surely delivers that. The problem seems to be the repetitiveness and lack of amazing songs (most are decent or average at best). However this album manages to spin out some good tracks like Concrete Jungle, Stir It Up and Stop that Train.
Bruce Springsteen Born to Run
I had very high expectations for this album, but unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. It still is a very good album though. Probably the best Springsteen album out there.
Buckethead Sideway Streets
Chet Baker Chet Baker Sings
The album has got soothing vocals and beautiful melodies but there are times when the album feels repititive as well.
Cream Wheels Of Fire
There is no questioning or doubts about the musical prowess of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce. This is pretty evident in the album with classics like White Room, Born Under a Bad Sign
Creedence Clearwater Revival Bayou Country
Dick Dale Surfer's Choice
Dick Dale's guitar work was something different, something advanced for his time. The album is fun throughout but can be a little repetitive.
Dream Theater Distance Over Time
Though not on par with the standards created by the early DT albums, Distance Over Time is still a good addition to their discography, especially after the abomination of the Astonishing. rThe album starts out strong, goes a little wayward in the mid-section but still manages to pull through at the end. "Paralyzed" and "Barstool Warrior" is what I've been listening to most from this album, currently.
Elliott Smith Either/Or
Brings forth a very 90s sound and atmosphere which is both the good and the bad point about this album. Although this album hits the 90s nostalgia, it also sounds all the same with a somewhat soothing but also monotonous vocals throughout the album. Highlights of the album include Pictures of Me and Rose Parade.
Epica The Holographic Principle
Eric Johnson Seven Worlds
Seven worlds has plenty of soothing tracks and amazing guitarwork but the album struggles to break through the fine line between above average and something exceptional.
Free Fire And Water
Gamma Ray Empire of the Undead
Genesis Trespass
Although not the debut album, this album is what marks the beginning of the bands musical journey. The songs sound mature and well-structured and has all the basic ingredients for a prog album. But what this album lacks is the much essential epicness, that every prog album requires. The album still has some decent and soothing tracks like White Mountain and Dusk. And the drumwork is amazing in the Knife.
George Harrison Dark Horse
A really enjoyable album. It was such a pleasure to listen to classic rock after a long time listening to modern rock. George's voice and guitar is soothing and calming as always. The title track is outstanding among all others and there are couple of other enjoyable songs as well. But still there is something missing that would have made this album an excellent and evergreen one.
Grand Funk Railroad Grand Funk
An amazing classic rock album with both bluesy and raw feel. Although, I got "The Guess Who" vibe here and there.
Haken Affinity
Haken Vector
The shortest album by Haken holds amazing tracks like Puzzle Box and Veil. Being a doctor myself, I found the concept of the album intriguing as well. Musically, I felt that this album was glorious at its place but not on par with their previous musical creations.
Havok V
Iah Iah
Great album with some amazing drumming performance to create an ambient sonic atmosphere. But there are times when it feels like they are being held off by something and really need to break through.
Judas Priest British Steel
The album is fun and energetic but not par with other great albums put out by this band. Only 4 good songs in the entire album, which are Metal Gods, Breaking the Law, Living after Midnight and The Rage.
Lynyrd Skynyrd Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd
Marvin Gaye What's Going On
Most of the album is beautiful and soulful while there are still some parts which feel very average. Recommendations: What's Going On, Right On, Inner City Blues.

Very enjoyable and a very soothing album. It is really difficult to choose one favourite track from this EP.
Mree The Middle
Simple and beautiful with such an an elegant voice. When You Come Home may be the best track in the album with amazing music and lyrics.
My Sleeping Karma Tri
the band manages to create a decent album with soothing and spiritual atmosphere. Although the album is far from being a masterpiece, the album provides an enjoyable time to the listeners.
Pain of Salvation The Perfect Element, Part 1
Pat Metheny Unity Group Kin <-->
It has got some decent tracks and some melodic tunes, but isn't a phenomenal album. However, it is quite a good listen and one doesn't feel bored.
Phil Collins Hello, I Must Be Going!
Pink Floyd The Division Bell
Plini Sweet Nothings
Exceptionally beautiful. especially the guitarwork in the opening track...exquisite!!!
Plini Impulse Voices
Found the music to be very relaxing, but it may feel repititive at times.
Riverside Rapid Eye Movement
A very entertaining and enjoyable album but not so unique and catching.
Robert Wyatt Rock Bottom
Rory Gallagher Deuce
A highly enjoyable album with some amazing tracks like I'm Not Awake Yet, Used to Be, Crest of a Wave; in fact every song song has its moments but still it feels like it lacks something so doesn't hit the top marks for me.
Song Album
This album is a Hidden gem and deserves more recognition. There's a bit of Beatles like stuff and a bit of experimental and psychedelic stuff thrown together.
Steve Hackett The Night Siren
Steve Vai Passion and Warfare
Contains some really good melodies and shreds and some wankeries here and there, still far from being a classic. Erotic Nightmares, Ballerina 12/24 and For the Love of God are perhaps by favorite tracks from this album.
The Alan Parsons Project Eye in the Sky
I don't think this album contains any bad songs, but majority of the tracks in this album are decent or above average at best. Some outstanding tracks include "Eye in the Sky" and "Old and Wise" with good music and incredible lyrics.
The Beatles The Beatles
This album has got tons of awesome songs like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Ob-La-Di-Ob-La-Da, I Will, Julia, Helter Skelter and some decent ones like Blackbird, Yer Blues and Revolution but the rest of the album feels so much forcibly extended and like a filler which bores the hell out of the listeners. They have tried to fit in so much virtuosity in this album that they have lost a definite tone in this one.
The Clash Combat Rock
I enjoyed this album a lot. There is not only punk but also other elements are present here and there including funk, traditional rock n' roll, and so on which give this album a very unique sound and feel.
The Kinks Face to Face
The album feels so English, and in a very good way. The entire album is so much fun to listen to with beautiful melodies and tracks that sound "folky" and even "proggy" at the same time. Sunday afternoon is the track that stands up above all but the rest are also quality tracks that deserve a good listen.
The Menzingers After the Party
Reminded of my teen days. The album is thoroughly enjoyable but I had a sad realization while listening to the album is that I am now past Pop Punk Music.
The Police Reggatta de Blanc
The Who The Who by Numbers
Obviously not the best album in their discography, but still a very enjoyable album.
The Who Who Are You
Van Morrison Moondance
Starts off really great with classic songs like Moondance, Crazy Love, Into the Mystic and sets off a high level which is not met by the songs that follow up to the end.
Yuri Gagarin At The Center Of All Infinity

3.0 good
AC/DC Power Up
Accept Blind Rage
Old School Heavy Metal that doesn't sound outdated at all. The album started relatively weak than the ending of the album. From the mid half, the tracks were more energetic and much better than the first half.
Accept Restless And Wild
Awesome riffs and music but can't stand the vocals.
AFI Decemberunderground
Not a big fan of "core" amd emo music. But AFi takes me doen to memory lane with Miss murder. So, I though about giving this album a try and founs it quite enjoyanle. Every track has its an awesome part. The bassline is praiseworthy.
Amorphis Skyforger
Anthrax Spreading The Disease
Not much impressed. With the big 4 title, they should have had a much better album than this. The songs are good, enjoyable and rocking but sometimes they sound monotonous.
Anthrax For All Kings
Some songs are noteworthy, some are average, some are like they are made by an amateur band, some are just noise. Anthrax has tried to play it safe with this album, so there is no real innovation over here. There are some good riffs here and there, and the energy put in the songs is praiseworthy.
Antoine Dufour Existence
Beautiful melodies but when listening to the album as whole, it begins to sound monotonous.
Anubis Gate Horizons
Asia Alpha
Contain couple of good songs including Don't Cry and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. And some tracks have eargasmic guitarwork. But still, there is no wow factor in most of the album as many songs are pretty mediocre (not bad) and somewhat cheesy and cringeworthy.
Blue Oyster Cult The Symbol Remains
Camel Mirage
Mixed feeling for this album. Some parts sound like old school technical wankery whereas some parts are melodic. But perhaps the only perfect aspect about this album is Lady Fantasy.
Climax Blues Band Flying the Flag
A Pretty Decent album with the stand out being "I Love You".
Colter Wall Imaginary Appalachia
So glad I discovered this artist. A very enjoyable album. Reminds me of Johnny Cash and Eddie Vedder. Highlights include "Sleeping on the Backtop" and "The Devil Wears a Suit and a Tie".
David Gilmour Rattle That Lock
Of course, the music is calming and the guitar work is Pink Floydish. There are a couple of good tracks like the Title Track and Faces of Stones. But still, these tracks do not save the album from blandness. It just doesn't attract the listeners fr repeated listen.
Deep Purple Whoosh!
Frehley's Comet Second Sighting
This album is like a plane that never really takes off but instead keeps running on the runway making the passengers anxious about the journey ahead. It has got some good tracks including "Insane", but still it is nothing that leaves a mark on the ground.
Gatekeeper (CAN) Grey Maiden
Slick solo guitar and drumming with decent vocals and bass. The riffs though fine are not catchy or "heavy" enough as Heavy metal riffs should be.
Glen Hansard This Wild Willing
Beautiful and boring at the same time. However, Brother's Keeper was an outstanding track among all others to me.
Haken Enter the 5th Dimension (Demo)
Hawkwind The Machine Stops
Iced Earth Burnt Offerings
The album was pretty decent but I didn't find it to be as epic as everyone else.
Journey Infinity
Steve Perry brings forth some magic with him but the album is far from greatness. Tracks recommended are Lights and Wheel in the Sky.
Kansas Power
Almost all of the songs are very enjoyable. They have got the 80s vibe in them. But what the album lacks is a feeling of uniqueness, passion and epicness. It just doesn't hit you right in the feels.
Kendrick Lamar To Pimp a Butterfly
Weird, somewhat likeable and overrated.
Marty Friedman Wall of Sound
Michael Jackson Michael
Michael Jackson Invincible
Opeth In Cauda Venenum
Opeth delivers yet another album that is subpar of their respected musical legacy. The tracks are uninteresting and unoriginal.
Pearl Jam Gigaton
Pink Floyd The Endless River
Ray Charles The Genius of Ray Charles
Beautiful ballads and amazing voicework no doubt but the album fails to bring something unique and spectacular that is able to leave a long term print in the memory.
Ronnie Wood I've Got My Own Album To Do
A decent album by Ronnie Wood. But despite being a solo album, the sound is more like that of the Rolling Stones. Highlights include Far East Man and Am I Grooving You
Scorpions In Trance
Its a pretty good album with some amazing tracks and eargamsic guitarwork but still I felt that there was something missing from this album, it just didn't hit the spot for me. There are some decent ballads in this album but compared to their other ballads, they seem relatively bland.
Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
I got tired of listening to the pitiful screams of John Lyddon. I couldn't even listen to the entirety of the album in a single run. But despite all this there are some songs I like off this album like Anarchy in the UK, Pretty Vacant, No Feelings and God Save the Queen. But I feel that this album is famous more because of all the controversy surrounding it rather than the musicianship.
SikTh The Trees Are Dead and Dried Out, Wait for Something Wild
Very energetic performances by the band members...I did like some of the tracks but as a whole, its not actually my cup of tea.
Simon and Garfunkel Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M.
The Sound of Silence is the only song that actually stands out and is one of my all time favorites. Apart from that, the album is pretty much mediocre with a couple of good songs but nothing phenomenal.
Sithu Aye Senpai EP II: The Noticing
Love the opening and the title track. I like the sound but eventually this album begins to feel a little too repetitive and monotonous, like the same scales being played again and again. That's what I noticed.
State Faults Clairvoyant
I generally detest hardcore music. But Clairvoyant by State Faults may be the only harcore album that I have found to be good until now.
Steve Hackett Out of the Tunnel's Mouth
I felt this was a mediocre album. Some tracks were pretty good but most of them didn't hit the mark. There were some good build ups but they didn't reach the top, they stayed on the level where they started.
Stevie Wonder Music of My Mind
"Girl Blue" and "Seems so long" are my two favorite tracks off this album. Rest of the album felt just above average to me.
Stoned Karma Soul Trip Ecstasy
This album is heavy at its core. But apart from a couple of memorable tracks like "She's a Bitch" and "Drunken Lizard", other tracks are good but forgettable. The reason probably is the band sounding not very vibrant.
The Alan Parsons Project Gaudi
I had very low expectations for this album as I had seen tons of ratings, but this turned out to be much better than I had expected it to be. Although the songs are not phenomenal and evergreen, but still most of them are enjoyable and I had quite a good time listening to the album. I think its very underrated in a sense.
The Alan Parsons Project Pyramid
Pyramid is just an above average album where it is evident that the band is afraid to dwell a further away from their comfort zones. It has a couple of good tracks like "The Eagle Will Rise Again" and "Shadow of a Lonely Man".
The Band The Band
I've listened to better folk albums with better music than in this one. Most of the songs are average. To me the songs that stood out were "Up On Cripple Creek" and "King Harvest". I found Across the "Great Divide", "When You Awake" and "Jawbone" to be decent enough for multiple listens.
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds
There are some really good songs and this album creates a really happy-go atmosphere. But that's all this album does for me. It doesn't leave a mark on my soul that asks me to visit this album again.
The Dear Hunter All Is As All Should Be
Enjoyable but did not find it very amusing at all. Previous albums by the artist has succeeded in creating an ambient or a unique atmosphere but this album did not do much for me. Though I liked some tracks like Blame Paradise, Shake Me and the Title Track.
The Who Face Dances
The Who Endless Wire
Van der Graaf Generator The Least We Can Do Is Wave to...
It is a good album and contains some good songs like Darkness, Refugees and After Flood. But still they are not enough to make this album a thing to be remembered. There are songs that are not worth caring about and a lot of wasted time on the songs. However, the jazz influence in the album is noteworthy and one of the stand outs in the album.

2.5 average
AC/DC Rock Or Bust
Rock or Bust is average at best with uninnovative and repetitive tracks. The lyrics are bland and mostly just a copy of the lyrics of their entire career. But the album still offers some decent tracks like "Rock or Bust", "Rock the Blues Away", "Baptism By Fire", and "Emission Control".
Ace Frehley Frehley's Comet
A nice effort to break from the shadow of KISS. But the effort is not enough to save this mediocre album.
Alter Bridge Walk The Sky
When you try to play it safe, you don't get a single bad song in the entire album but neither will you get a oustanding one. Such is the case of Alter Bridge's newest album.
Angel Dust Into The Dark Past
Loud, fast and thrashing. But I have a little problem towards the old school speed/thrash metal that is their sound quality. One simply cannot enjoy all the layers of music. Thus it sounds monotonous.
Anthrax Among The Living
I so want to get into Anthrax as they are one of the Big Fours of Thrash Metal. So I turn to this album. One of Anthrax's classics. The music is all right, the riffs are rocking but there's something about the vocals that ticks me off. It's like the vocals and the music aren't meant to be together. To me, much of it just felt awkward like there was something off. But I did like "I am the Law". Hope, in the future, I may change this rating.
Beck Hyperspace
What starts out as a promising album, turns into a below average and uninspiring one just after two tracks in and continues on that same standard for its entirety.
Blind Guardian Imaginations From The Other Side
I've had a fair share of Power Metal and this was definitely not my first listening to this genre or this band. I had heard many praises of this album so decided to listen to it. With a powerful and blazing first track (also the title track), I expected the album to go uphill but instead it felt like there was no ascent at all and it all sounded the same. I didn't feel the epicness that one feels when listening to Power Metal songs, in rest of the tracks. I'm not saying that they were bad, they were decent but not good enough for me to give another listen to. But the ending track was considerably better and I enjoyed it more as well.
Boston Corporate America
Boston has tried to take a new direction in this album. But I don't think it was the right path. Undeniably, this album is qualitatively worse than other albums they had released before it. But despite this fact, there are still some decent songs in this album including "I Had a Good Time" and "Cryin'" which have a strong late 90s and early 00s vibe. But these tracks are not strong enough to save the album. Most of the remaining tracks are mediocre and kind of weird.
Eloy Colours
Colours by Eloy offers a couple of decent tracks like Silhouette and Child Migration. But as a whole the album feels bland and uninteresting. The album seems to lack an X-Factor that might have made this album a great one to remember rather than just another average album that no one bothers to listen twice.
Frayle The White Witch
It was just meh for me. Neither did I find the album innovative nor did I find it interesting, musically.
Frehley's Comet Frehley's Comet
Gary Clark Jr. This Land
Apart from a couple of songs including When I'm Gone and Guitar Man, this album is pretty average.
Ghost (SWE) Opus Eponymous
INXS INXS
The self titled debut album by INXS is a thoroughly enjoyable musical ride that seeks to achieve great heights by the passion and energy evident in the album, but fails to do so due to lack of musicality.
Jimmy Page Outrider
Jimmy Page gives us a listenable but quite forgettable album mostly due to lack of production values and lack of creativity, with the only strong track being "The Only One", a collaboration with his former band mate, Robert Plant.
Kate Bush The Dreaming
I had three phases listening to this albumr1. What is this Yoko Ono Bullshit?r2. Hmm, I think it's tad bit better than Yoko Ono.r3. Nah, fuck it. It is some Yoko Ono Bullshit.rI liked a total of 3 tracks from this album "Suspended in Gaffa", "The Dreaming" and "Get Out of My House". which dwell nearer to the genre of art rock, in my opinion. While the others are just utter and plain wankery.
Myrath Hope
Undoubtedly unique and something like I've never heard before. But the pointless shredding cliche of modern prog is still present, which takes away all the fun the album was supposed to provide.
Renaissance Novella
REO Speedwagon Hi Infidelity
Enjoyable. Has a couple of good songs. But is pretty much mediocre at best and not something thay would go through multiple playthroughs.
Rolo Tomassi Time Will Die And Love Will Bury It
I didn't love this album and neither did I hate it. Virtuosity and varying time signatures doesn't always mean good music. Sure the band members are talented and can perform their instruments with great skill but they still lag far behind in the ability to deliver music that moves the soul.
Secret Band LP2
Why, I have very mixed feelings about this album. Although the musicality is amazing, the drums and the guitars are both great, I am not a big fan of the vocals.
Sonata Arctica Pariah's Child
I was very confused by this album and I believe so were the band members. It started on a very high note with The Wolves Die Young being a strong Power Metal track but as the album progresses, the band loses their direction. They are unsure what type of album they are making they go initially for Power Metal but with a very Pop and Glam Metal feeling which doesn't work at all, and the cheesy melodies doesn't help much at all. Another plus point was "What Did You Do in War, Dad?", but this song also has a structural problem. To me, it was a huge disappointment but still not a total waste of time so I'd go with a 2.5 stars.
The Mars Volta Tremulant
Every song sounds the same. Guitar and drums are good but didn't like the vocal effect at all. Not something I would like to give another listen to. Maybe, just not my cup of tea.
The Rolling Stones 12 x 5
Some good tracks but the album is just average on the whole.
Yes Big Generator
This album could have been so much better. Almost nothing works here. To me, it doesn't matter if they are trying to sound "pop" but at least it could be good pop music. But the band fails to achieve even that. There are some good parts in each and every song but none of them are ever really explored. It is an album that is really not worth coming back to.

2.0 poor
A Tribe Called Quest The Low End Theory
Sounds so monotonous and I didn't like the rapping as well. Maybe not my cup of tea.
Emigrate Silent So Long
Emigrate presents us with their 2nd album 'Silent So Long' and after listening to it, one feels that they would have remained silent for just a little longer. The album consists of only two decent songs and all other tracks are either borderline average or bland and boring.
John Cale Music For A New Society
What could have been an avant-garde masterpiece dwells on the borderline of being absolute shit.
Owl City Ocean Eyes
This album could have been better if only the vocals were less autotuned and the melodies less sassy. The album feels uninspired and the lyrics are wacky.
