This EP is quite average for Kamasi. A little disappointing. It has it's great moments though, last track is killer made me change my vote from 2.5 to 3, if only the rest of the EP was like that... |

King Crimson The Power to Believe |
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard Flying Microtonal Banana |
Some good ideas but as in all King Gizzard's releases of this year, It all sound just shoved in the record as fast as they thought of it. A little more thinking wouldn't have hurt. And if microtonal instruments are playable even with little practice one does not improvise himself a microtonal singer, and when instruments and voice do the same line one with quarter tones and the other with half it's not microtonal it's just pitchy. |

It annoys me how much similar to Lykaia this is. Opponent and Sectarian are almost superposable, same structure same vibe same tonality even and both being opening tracks it's a blatant comparison . This said is not that i dislike it, i just hope they would evolve a little bit. |

Kind of sad that this band lost itself after the amazing first album. This is enjoyable but a little derivative, still better than Love Death Immortality though. Somewhere between a 2.5 and a 3 |

If he ever re-records it with a decent sound (not good, just decent) that would be at least a 4. I really don't get the passion for lo-fi. This album is full of great ideas but it sometimes sound soooo shitty it's unbearable. |
