Some Album I enjoyed in 2022
I don’t feel like doing a top ten this year. I haven’t listen to enough new music but here some albums I enjoyed in no particular order. |
1 | | Bjork Fossora
Really good effort from Bjork that just bjorks out in this one a lot. Love the clarinets. |
2 | | Revocation Netherheaven
Perhaps not as good as some old one but enough of a banger. |
3 | | The Beths Expert in a Dying Field
I know it's a metaphor for a breakup but as a musicologist with an expertise in XX century classical music the title track hit close to home. I really enjoy how simple but interesting their music is. And some texts are just heartbreaking (How can you hold me when I'm dissolving). Also love their Kiwi weird accent. |
4 | | Menage a un Anthems for Friendzoned Satanists
I'm in this one so I'm not really impartial... But I did enjoy a lot recording it and listen to it. Next one's coming soon. |
5 | | Sweet Pill Where the Heart Is
Not usually my cup of tee but I'm listening to this a lot lately. We'll see if it sticks or if it's just tooooo muuuuuch. |
6 | | Bear McCreary The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power - S1
I really didn't care much for this TV show but McCreary did a great job with the score and I love to listen to it when i read. |
