| Fourteen years later, and this is still a fantastic album. Besides the first three singles (You're Just a Trend, Such Simple Words, and the Lives We Live), the songs are about finding peace and happiness. This album aged very beautifully compared to the other mainstream -core releases (That's Outrageous!, I See Stars, and Crown the Empire). rThe major downside is that the album is chuggy. There are interesting riffs and synths in the background, but are hidden because of the mix. |

| Not a bad album. The worst thing about this album are the song structures are similar after three-four songs. Each song either has a silence or a synth part before transitioning into a "heavy" breakdown. I miss the melodies (guitar and vocals) that were prevalent in The Love You Let Too Close. |
