5.0 classic
Fallujah Nomadic
Fallujah has refined their signature "spacey death metal" sound on this small release, and they have done a successful job; this EP is literally perfect. Even "Silent", the beautiful interlude in its ambient, hypnotic atmosphere, serves as a bridge between the two relentless yet serene tracks. Their wide range of influences is made apparent on this release and if this is the sound they plan to pursue on their sophomore album, Fallujah will get a ton of deserved attention.

I've never heard this band before. This album is amazing.
Soilwork The Ride Majestic
Soulfly Enslaved
The album is completely vicious; each track is a different representation of how Max Cavalera still has tricks up his sleeve. Not a single song blends together with the last or the next and each of which has its shining moments (the groove in American Steel, the numerous melodies in Gladiator). This album came as the biggest surprise, especially since I wasn't a fan of Omen at all.
