Not good albums I think are pretty good man

Some may not be TERRIBLE as much as underwhelming, but others are definitely terrible.
1Cradle of Filth
Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa

It was the first Cradle album I ever listened to so that probably helps. Regardless, I genuinely enjoy every track on this album (although Lilith Immaculate, The Spawn of Love and War, and Harlot on a Pedestal are the faves) and to me it's one of Dani's best lyrically. There are some straight up poems in here. I also listen to this album quite often.
2Purity Ring
Another Eternity

Lot of people blasted this because it wasn't nearly as good as Shrines (agreed). The duo still has that dark underbelly, and although the tracks are more predictable, they're still as cryptic and dramatic as ever.
3Dimmu Borgir
In Sorte Diaboli

I don't think people considered this as terrible, but probably more on the bland/boring side. To me the worst thing about this album is the word "the," but otherwise it's pretty good. Chosen Legacy is my fave.
4Megadeth
Risk

People sleep on this man. There are some good pop songs here.
5Cryptopsy
The Unspoken King

I liked deathcore in 2008 regardless of how good it may have been, and this was one of the first albums I checked out. As I grew up, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Cryptopsy was actually a tech death band, so that was nice. I'll still listen as a guilty pleasure from time to time.
