Deftones, Thrice, ETID, Dillinger Escape Plan, SOAD, Incubus, Norma Jean, Sevendust, Glassjaw, Finch,

	Northlane Obsidian This one was hard for me. I didn't love the singles at first (still not a fan of Echo Chamber) and the album in its entirety didn't grab me like Alien did. When you open an album with a song like Details Matter, you're gonna be paying attention. But after several listen there are a lot of little details that take awhile to "get". The only real negatives I have are too many pop hooks and some repetitive songs like Echo Chamber, Xen (although I do like that song). That brings its down below Alien for me but overall it's a very strong release. "Obsidian" may	4.0 04.30.22
