 | Nothingness Supraliminal Great and very balanced death metal album. It's punchy (f.e. "Temple of Broken Swords" is massive), but there is a more melody-centric side of this album too, like the quite death-doom-ish "Beacon of Loss". Even though it's not that savage and "sharp" as I expected: it's still a great record, though. | 3.5 01.27.23 | | ...and Oceans As in Gardens, So in Tombs Pleasant symphonic black metal album, however it's definitely not as punchy as Cosmic World Mother was - and I kinda miss that. | 3.5 01.25.23 | | Dopelord Sign Of The Devil Basically another fuzz-fueled stoner/doom jam, with some earthworm songs, like "Heathen". It's fun, nothing else. | 3.5 01.24.23 | | Dopelord Reality Dagger

| 2.5 01.21.23 | | Thy Darkened Shade Liber Lvcifer II: Mahapralaya It's... OK. Feels too long, and while the basslines are amazing, the overall instrumentalization doesn't feel so synergic to me, and the vocals are definitely "too much". | 3.0 01.20.23 | | Ahab The Coral Tombs Long and gigantic songs and... a super cool-looking cover. More seriously, The Coral Tombs is built from a quite a mixed bag of influences, varying and blending doom, sludge and post-metal. My biggest issue with it is the way too high ratio of cleaner/quieter sections, which makes it a bit hollow. Not bad, but I think they could have offered a bit more. | 3.5 01.20.23 |
 | Pho3nix Thanks for the rec, friend! for me Erang has always been a little hit and miss... my fave release being 'Endless Realms and Nostalgic Gods'. I'll definitely give it a listen. This is one of the weirder items I have on my wishlist, you might dig it: https://amndungeonsynth.bandcamp.com/album/shadows-of-amn

 | arf Hey, thanks for the rec - you should check out the last Knights of Nvrul album; it's a big improvement over previous efforts imo.

 | Trifolium Hahahahaha yeah I totally get that. It is super silly and goofy indeed. Cliché and almost parody maybe. Well, you never know! Better luck next time! Enjoy this glorious weekend garas!
|
 | Trifolium Haha, enjoy! I think for me it can be the ultimate goofy in a good way music on one day, and go a little too far on another, depending on the mood. Curious what you think!

 | Trifolium I really don't know if it's your thing garas, but this is super nicely goth and kind of almost electro-ish or something, I quite like it (I think!) and maybe you will too? https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=444002
