I'm happy and sad at the same time: EC has finally returned with new material, but damn: this is just an EP, and the second song is 100% ambient... But the long "atmospheric heavy metal" title song was just as epic as possible. I liked that they pushed the vocals a little bit towards the background. Still: come on, you had 6 years to write something, this is half-assed!		3.0

Sequestered Keep Wandering Far
The very best of Sequestered Keep. A truly magical experience, relaxing yet adventurous medieval ambient / dungeon synth. This particular album is a great companion for long walks.		4.0

It was alright. The standard Hiemal method: one single very long ethereal drone track. Relaxing.		3.0

Fire Magic Memories of Fire
Pretty great meloblack with some heavy metal influences. Mostly the album contains fast tremolo riffing and blast beats, but here and there you can hear some additional galloping riffs or acoustic parts - which is a significant spicing! I think e.g. more mid-tempo sections could have been better, because half of the album is kinda samey. But this is a very pleasant release. What's next?		3.5

Pantera Power Metal
This shits on most of their discography, LOL. This is a very well executed heavy metal album. And the Judas Priest-worhsip parts are damn good! (Also I wouldn't consider this as glam...)		3.5

Exhorder Slaughter in the Vatican
It felt like "listening to the melting pot": thrash metal which later influenced both groove and death metal. Excellent album.		4.0
