  • LightAndGlass On the bright side I saw Bayside either last year or earlier this year (can't remember) and Coheed a few months ago and both still put on incredible live shows. Bayside actually only played one new song and everything else was almost exclusively their self-titled and TWW. They might have played Masterpiece too so that made it way more enjoyable.Coheed actually keeps getting better live despite their music getting worse.

  • LightAndGlass "Bayside and Coheed...I think we can be friends."Definitely! I unfortunately haven't loved much of Bayside's stuff post TWW other than Cult but I have a Bayside tattoo on my forearm. Their self-titled is one of the most important pieces of work I've ever heard and had a serious impact on me. I just wish Anthony would stop singing like he's in The Smoking Popes.

  • BlushfulHippocrene I think it's something we should cover in the piece... Do you think it's turning into more of a blog piece? I suppose given that it's a comp album, though, the review can be as sprawling as it needs to be whilst still TECHNICALLY being a review.

  • BlushfulHippocrene Oopss!!! Sorry, I don't know why I didn't see that. Scarecrow is INCREDIBLE, and the title track. How about you? Going to have to apologise for being so slow on the peace again, things are a mess. I'll add some more this Friday and next week, I have a week break. (:
