Deep as a sewer, but it doesn't need to be when it's filled up with jumpup riffs. Another big dumb fun record from these guys that does everything it needs to do and not an iota more. | 3.0

The first mushroom cloud was a shock to us all. By the time the second appeared, and
another, and another, in tidy little rows, we knew: this was the end. As we sat waiting for
the fallout to claim us, they caught the one responsible and paraded
them through town to their inevitable execution. Kind of superfluous given what was
happening, but it's human nature, after all. Before the electricity went out, before it was
truly over, they broadcast the culprit's last words. How could someone do this? How can you
own up to ending the world? With tears in their eyes, they defiantly exclaimed:

Easily his best since Arktis, and avoids a lot of the pitfalls that plague orchestral metal. Did not leave a lasting impression upon an immediate listen like Artkis or After (his magnum opus), but time will tell if this one is a keeper or an interesting experiment. | 4.0

I could not tell you a single memorable thing from this record (aside from the Shibari line, 10/10), but I also haven't unconsciously danced to an entire record in years. That alone bumps it to a 3. | 3.0

| someone well it was a nice little quarantine baby. really loved how theatrical it was without really becoming corny (like many goth albums do)
