Malevolence Self Supremacy
Bumped this up to a 5 star after many hours of listening. I just love this record for its diversity and technical performance. It feels quite complex without ever loosing punch. It has a near perfect combination of catchyness and brutality and every song has a unique vibe. I have to say it really grew on me and the more I listen the more I airdrum to all it?s highlights.

Amenra Mass VI
I am not at all a fan of the clean vocals on this album. They feel forced. I get that adding clean vocals adds to the
depth of the album, however, I do not consider Colin to have as good a clean vocal as his screams are. Further I
feel the same routine is repeated throughout the album too much, continuing the pattern set in earlier records. As
soon as the signature soft part kicks in, in the middle of each song, the accompanying clean vocals start. It feels
as if AmenRa have perfected their song structuring and build but are lacking creativity. A solitary reign for me is
the one song that does have that

Broken Teeth At Peace Amongst Chaos
I don't really get these low ratings. I might not be in 'the scene' enough to place this in perspective. For me, this is
really one of the best I've heard in a long time. If you want to tear your gym down, this is the one that will push
your 1RM over the edge. Love it, been repeating it for over a week now and will continue to do so.

  • deezer666 Im kinda with you on the Mass VI. All though saying you dont like the clean Vox and the then saying solitary reign is the best track on it which is the track with the most and most different from past clean vox is quite contradictory. I dont think its the strongest opener either. But 'Plus pres de toi' AND 'Diaken' Are phenomenal and I still love the record but its like having something stuck in my teeth. They havent really added clean vox that havent always been there APART from that song.
