combustion07 For sure! Im in a Meth Drinker tee and a black beanie. I should be pretty distinct lol Im missing the first few bands to hit Lake Michigan rq while I am up here but I?ll be there by the time Morta Skuld goes up June 5 06:04 PM
combustion07 If you want brutal death that doesn?t have the obnoxious themes as much I?d highly recommend mid era Deeds of Flesh, Defeated Sanity and Suffocation. There?s still some of it in there but it?s definitely not as over the top or constant as something like Visceral Disgorge. When it comes to that style thats more the era that I am into there?s just none of that on the lineup so I am taking what I can get ha May 29 10:30 PM
combustion07 I will say after reading your comment I looked up Visceral disgorges lyrics and holy s*** it is some of the worst s*** I?ve ever read and I really wished I hadn?t lol they?re not a band I listen to typically tbh I just feel like in a live setting it?s going to be awesome. Out of all the shows I?ve attended bdm tends to hit me the hardest. But agreed the themes are almost always very dumb lol I live in Missouri though. Been to Kansas a bunch too but I?m like 10 minutes from Kansas so eh May 29 10:24 PM
combustion07 https://youtu.be/xJAmR7jkZrg?si=Szpf0WEY4Icl85fJThat was the first ?extreme? song I ever heard and it blew my young mind so I?ve just always liked bdm I guess. The bouncy grooves and honestly just riffs. Honestly when it comes to extreme metal period it?s very rare I pay any attention to the lyrics. There?s some bands that it?s worthwhile to but for the most part the vocals are just another instrument to me. May 29 10:20 PM
combustion07 Polkadot is my biggest conflict too they definitely got shafted lol only other one I?m bummed about is Lecherous Nocturne and Visceral Disgorge and that Acid Bath eats up a chunk of Incantation. Also kinda bummed Hirax and Cardiac Arrest conflict but I?m going Cardiac easy. I?ve only left my state one other time before this and it was for this same fest 8 years ago so I am definitely stoked lol May 28 11:14 PM
