bnelso55 I'll keep an eye out for the TOA album! That's exciting news. Hopefully your approach with the singles helps you build a good listener base. The music is certainly worthy of one. I shared the End of Time with a friend and he only had good things to say. February 8 04:13 PM
bnelso55 I'm thrilled to hear you find some value in the music. Here Stones Arise is one I'm pretty happy with. I think it lands fairly close to my goals for the project. For this latest EP, I was trying to streamline my writing a bit. I had wondered if I could come up with concise songs that were actually decent by using instruments other than guitar as starting points for song ideas. I don't know how successful I was, but I'm glad I tried. February 8 04:13 PM
bnelso55 You are on a roll with the ToA singles! Blood Chalice blew me away. The intro is killer and there's a transition around halfway that gets me every time. Great vocal sound, too. It's just the sort of thing I look for in death metal. Do you think you will have more singles be more this year? February 2 04:20 PM
bnelso55 Hey! It's good to hear from you. Thank you for taking the time to listen. It means a lot and really appreciate your thoughts, too. I've gotten some feedback that tells me the new songs maybe are not the best thing I've ever done, but I was trying to experiment with my songwriting approach this time to see if I could broaden my palette a bit. botb Oh man that?s great to hear. I guess you guys are far enough west from the coast. I miss RVA too, have lived in little mountain town Charlottesville for a couple years now but we?re plotting on moving back. My wife?s job just pays really well so we had to give it a shot here but we?re both pretty over the yuppie white people vibes of the town lmao December 11 03:36 AM
