| heck Katatonia is one of the most personally important bands for me as well... a band I can say literally saved my life in a sense. maybe that's why I'm kinda harsh on their newer stuff, it doesn't have the same emotional weight attached to it that their pre-City Burials stuff does

| heck I get more Night Is the New Day from Nightmares personally. City Burials grew on me cause I feel like the songwriting was more inspired, whereas Sky and Nightmares feel more auto pilot to me. I think I'm also a little biased against Sky in particular because when I saw them live they almost entirely played songs from that and very few of the ones I wanted to hear lol

| unclereich oh dang i didn't know that. i just remember you and the people from your join year being pretty funny and welcoming. idk why i always associated you with ire and satellite, good people. we have all needed time off from this place for better or worse. it's hard to even put into words the pull it has on many of us and the place it has in our hearts. i still think about a lot of users who will likely never comment again. in any case i'm glad you're back and happy to get to chat with you!

| Hawks Definitely hit up Mt. Washington and the Strip District, lots of cool stuff to do around those areas. There's also tons to do downtown. I'd say hit up the incline as well as it gives you a gorgeous view of the city. The drive in with coming across bridges and rivers is gorgeous too. Maybe hit up Phipps Conservatory too and the Carnegie Science center is super fun as well.

If everything you feel (emotionally) is literally in your head then you have the ability to make it do what you want. It may not be easy but one should be able to cope in whatever manner they decide to. Most of your coping skills are learned from your parents. I say screw that, my parents coping skills suck. ;^)

| omnipanzer I can respect that however it makes more sense to me to want something that hurts you to be as far from your thoughts as you would want it from your physical person. I give myself a reasonable period of time (1week - 1 month) to learn and heal and then I move on. As far as I can tell my process hasn't hurt me yet.

Part of the reason why I've always tried to keep my head down a bit I guess, means I can just focus on this site for the music and ignore all the petty trolling that goes on which is why I joined in the first place. I do think people cross the line sometimes when they're "trolling" you, though I'm sure you're smart enough to just ignore it.

 | Defeater I'm not going to get into why I think that's the case as I think we both know, but that's just the way it is. It's nothing you've done, but it's like painting a target on your own back. There a reason users like Emim and myself to a lesser degree just keep that stuff to ourselves. People just won't respect you for it no matter what you do. And I know I don't have much room to talk, since I run my mouth of terribly here, but it kind of sucks you in after awhile.
