 | Hawks Yep it's very similar to Cold Body Radiation. It's very relaxing.

| Hawks The shoegaze elements are a lot more prominent here and it's more like shoegaze with black metal influences whereas the first album was the other way around.

| Hawks A lot of people are saying it sucks, but really it's almost on par with Lost. Not quite as good, but it's still awesome. Pretty different though.

 | TheSpirit I think if I had heard it first I probably would've have liked it more because it's not bad per say, it just really failed to hit the expectations set by the previous two albums. The first two albums are really dynamic and have really cool clean interludes and in this one a lot of that is lost. I and II are awesome though.

It's definitely not one of your strongest, I can tell you that (felt really rushed), but it's decent.

| fr33convict Yeah I figured that's probably what happened. I do that all the time haha. This song was basically the first one we've written as a band (everything except Ruiner was written entirely by me, Ruiner was made mainly by our vocalist.) and I thought it turned out really well but it's hard trying to find opinions you value (not to gloat but seriously our primarily scene kid fanbase thinks we're geniuses lol). Also, that Neurosis song was pretty sweet.

| Hawks Oh damn you need to get on all of their full-lengths. The new album is definitely the weirdest one they've put out yet, but all of their stuff is ace. Their first album, La Sanie, is definitely an essential black metal album.

| Voivod yeah indeed, Sun of Nothing is awesome. They have this post metal influences mixed with black metal that really make some difference. I have their previous albums as well, they are more complex there. I'm planning to review their discog sometime in the future.

 | Defeater This is how I see it: "Brothers" comes before "Warm Blood Rush", because it reflect's on the brothers' childhood together. "Headstone" is him sitting at his wife's grave after he leaves the bar every night. "I Don't Mind" is the period between "Empty Glass" and "White Knuckles" when him and his wife are living life. "But Breathing" takes place between "Brothers" and "Warm Blood Rush".

| Defeater "Empty Glass" is my favorite lyrically and "White Knuckles" musically. The funny thing about "White Knuckles" is it's probably the most depressing song lyrically on the album, yet it's the most aggressive musically.

| TheSpirit Noticed that you really like Iskra. You should check out an album Sinat Hinam by a band of the same name. Stenchcore (basically more metal leaning crustpunk) with black metal influences, something I think you would enjoy. Let me know what you think! Also raised my rating for Ulcerate significantly. I'm not sure what it was at first but it's really grown on me. Anyway, if you decide to check out Sinat Hinam, I'd be interested in hearing what you think

| Kimm It's not a music review, it's an album review.Lyrics are just as much a part of the album as the music. In my mind. I focussed on the lyrics because I didn't have much good to say about the music, but I still consider Ekklesia a "good" album. But yeah, for Portraits and Breaker I'll try to do better because the music improves with each album.
