| Lord(e)Po)))ts you may be right, i just have a hard time seeing him as a particularly bright and aware self-aware individual given how devoid a lot of his lyrics and rap schemes are but it seems like there are a lot of artists like that these days and it may just be that I'm missing something due to artistic differences.

| Lord(e)Po)))ts after off my first casual listen I found it a pretty odd and anti-climactic closer. With the rest of my gripes with the album, I find it hard to believe Danny Brown is enough of an intellectual to intentionally fuel his (imo questionable) narratives with particular aesthetics and that its more likely that there is a bit of a divide between his clearly rather unique production choices and his actual intentions. Maybe more just a fortunate coincidence that it works out that way.

| Lord(e)Po)))ts if i gather what you are asking correctly then i'd say definitely yes, at least in works where the aesthetic is deliberately 'dysfunctional' to emphasize the narrative, but in the case of Danny Brown my cynical side thinks it may be more of a case of analyzing "why the curtains are blue: an essay" when the curtains just happen to be blue and thats all there is to it (if you can excuse me waxing poetic). but listening to Hell For It with that in mind I do get a bit more out of it, especially

| Lord(e)Po)))ts damn, review that s*** man thats very insightful. i can appreciate what you are saying on that level actually, however, sonically it doesnt really register for me enough for the motives behind it to bypass the fact that it just kinda dont move me ya know? haha. there are definitely some artists out there like Lil Ugly Mane that can really sway me with their 'call-outs' at the confines of the genres they represent but with Product it just kind disassociated me from the overall experience.

| Lord(e)Po)))ts i liked it a lot for the most part however my one gripe is i felt it kinda fell apart near the end. i would be pretty happy with LOVE just not existing and Just Like We Never Said Goodbye was a pretty awkward and anti-climactic closer after LOVE... but I really like all the other tracks they were great fun.

| Lord(e)Po)))ts i liked Black Ice a lot too around when it came out. Post-rock in general has kind of grown off me over the years but the new album is quite good, I think you will enjoy it a lot. the intro and outro tracks are big highlights for me. plus dat album artwork is truly wicked.

| YetAnotherBrick Honestly, I wasn't even that familiar with those poems in particular, they were just the only ones I could find quickly on a site that would actually let you read them. But he does carry on that kind of style through most of his work. Those poems were a little more jagged than he usually is though; in his book "Fancy Beasts," he finds a perfect balance between scatterbrained narrative and hyper-precise imagery. Like a more cynical Bob Dylan.
