| Lord(e)Po)))ts Well, you're not alone, its getting good reception pretty much everywhere, which in a way i guess makes sense, it might not be for me but i can see how it would be one of his most widely appealing albums. its super safe and i guess thats probably one of my least favourite things about it on a personal level but also something that will be attractive to a larger audience

I didn't think I'd hate it this much either, especially after After Hours, but damn yeah I think it's probably his worst album but I'd have to relisten to Star Boy to confirm that

| DDDeftoneDDD dude that song (Hourglass) starts sounding like late Muse with late MarilynManson (both late baaad) plus a dub electronic feel that doesn't appeal to me at all (both on the vocals and the beat). The lyrics are "tickyticky" stupid s"#t. I only can take it cause I think its kind of social irony being used...Now you tell me why you like it and I may change my mind (:

| AsleepInTheBack Thats fair enough man haha, and I do see the appeal in it. Hell, some of my favourite music is post rock, all about beautiful builds to bone shuddering conclusions, but putting that formula into shorter more digestible songs is not my thing I dont think, but we'll see. Looking forward to checking SNW still.

| AsleepInTheBack well hopefully they'll grow on me over time. to be honest I think I get what they are going for, a lot of dichotomy between the dreamy and heavy, and I totally get why people would be into it, but I just dont think its my thing. They heavy bits don't feel particularly heavy to me and the dreamy bits don't immerse me, so it doesn't really scratch that itch I have for aggressive music, not hit me emotionally

 | Drifter Yeah, I can definitely see why. I guess I just have a really strong emotional attachment to it, so it's an easy 5 for me. Can't wait til you check Act 2 out though. It's spectacular. It has an even better first three tracks than Act 4

| onionbubs you know what would be sick? if you added lovers to s/t in place of deathblow, and moved deathblow as the penultimate track, making anniversary the closer, with the drums stripped out, and as something tied in to deathblow. that would be sick
