  • Spec Great work on that list btw. I love seeing everybodys wrapped.
    December 10 02:46 AM
  • mkmusic1995 Totally dude! Like the songs themselves are pretty cool and I've always dude had a great voice but they have consistently just had the worst mixes on their albums. Such a shame

  • Hawks Sounds good bro!
    October 21 12:16 AM
  • Hawks Looks like some of the lyrics are on Metal Archives.
    October 20 10:32 PM
  • Hawks Hmmmm, I can try to find them, but I have no clue where to look off the top of my head lmao.
    October 20 08:44 PM
  • Hawks Yeah bro, that production makes it unlistenable for me lol.
    October 10 10:20 PM
  • Sowing Now that's an unexpected throwback! That EP rules and is one of my favorite releases of 2010. I used to play it while driving at night and it was truly magical. So glad you discovered it and enjoyed it.

  • Hawks It's terrible imo lol. Production is absolutely God awful.
    October 3 10:16 PM
  • Hawks Albums are assigned, check the list!

  • dbizzles Great to hear. One of the best things about Murmuüre is that it covers enough ground that the replay value is better than you?d expect. I listen to it only about once a year, but it always feels fresh and blows my mind a little. I put it in outside for trick-or-treaters once lol.

  • Hawks 5 for Axioma!!! Nice!!!
    September 14 01:16 PM
  • PanosChris Glad you enjoyed that U.S. Girls record; one of the best pop albums of the 2010s for sure. Hopefully you enjoy some of her other albums, though they are more hit-and-miss than this one (give her 2015 record 'Half Free' a spin next)! Cheers for making such a great list by the way and congrats on becoming contributor as well! :)

  • Rolling Girl Cheers, friend! Glad you're enjoying it! If you're interested his album My Agenda is a bit more experimental.

  • Sunnyvale Hey there! Any interest in writing a short blurb up for Knocked Loose as May release of the month? If so, just shoot me a Google Docs link in my Shoutbox when you're done.

  • Sowing It's decent. More alt-rock than their last few releases, so the instrumentation is heavier at times. However I did not find it to be all that memorable overall.
    April 26 10:28 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell Goo Goo Goo, best starting point - one of their most prominent brushes with the mainstream and also an uncontroversial showcase of everything they did best. Has a lot of their raw edge, a few whacked arthouse idea, but a ton of good hooks. No better starting point (if you want a more palatable indie jam, maybe try Sonic Nurse though)
    April 26 09:45 PM
  • Sowing Thanks for the rec, I'm really enjoying it.
    January 27 10:48 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell It's algorithmically bad, equal parts worthless and forgettable. Good for objectivity fodder, not so good for an irony jam
    January 26 10:34 PM
  • veninblazer Didn't see this till now. Thanks! I'll see what I think!
    December 8 09:50 PM

    August 24 12:14 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell albums or songs? Remain in Light/Fear/Speaking if former, Punches/Great Curve/Listening Wind if the latter (but that's boring bc all from RiL - would have Heaven/Pull up the Roots/Pulled Up or I Get Wild otherwise)
    August 24 09:02 AM
  • Dedes Lol thanks yo, haven't played Smash in a minute but he's still undoubtedly amongst my favorites. I think i've in time become more of a pikachu fan but only because I suck and Thunderbolt is a degen spam move in Smash.

    April 15 12:22 AM
  • SlothcoreSam Good to see you give it a shot. Yeah it's a fun album, and not as good as some of their other work, definitely one dimensional, especially with the vocals. Smoko is their best album.
    April 12 06:17 PM
  • SlothcoreSam Yo Platy, you checked the new Frenzal Rhomb yet? It's some dirty Aussie punk.

    July 21 04:26 PM
  • SlothcoreSam Yeah I get that, the vocals get very old quick, definitely need to mix it up a bit.
    April 10 09:52 PM
  • SlothcoreSam Yo Platy, just added the new Devon Kay album to the database, it's pretty good, have you checked it yet?
    April 5 12:45 AM
  • DrGonzo1937 fancy doing a small blurb on Wolf Alice for the Album of the Month feature? doesn't have to be chapter and verse; just a couple of sentences.
    July 6 05:59 AM
  • NorwichScene Thanks! I?ve found some other sites, but they only have big releases. KL had nearly all the stuff on here

  • ReturnToRock Thanks for the support, man! I'm just having fun right now, and reviewing whatever I feel like - mostly albums that don't have reviews yet, or just have one not-so-good one. I actually feel I was a bit rusty and am getting back into my groove now :)
    November 23 05:45 PM
  • Feather Hey man! Thanks for the kind words. I rarely get around to it, but I really do love reviewing when I have the chance... hell I have been on this site most days for almost a decade now.

    June 13 11:30 AM
  • ASnideReturns Hey there, I read through all of your reviews and honestly they were all pretty solid, so I pos'd all of them to boost your approval rating up a bit. Cheers!
