| onionbubs i like all of their albums but addiction and my shame are probably my least favorites. Both of them have killer songs tho. my shame has more good songs but aside from the first two its definitely one of matts weakest albums. dans songs are incredible on it tho, and a lot of his best songs from those sessions didnt even make it onto the album imo. addictions second half is overall probably the worst thing they've ever done although fine is one of my all time favorite trio songs

| Joeman82 Today's my first Sputnik Anniversary, and I don't think I've done enough activity to warrant a list about it, so I'm making the rounds and thanking some specific people for making my experience enjoyable. I'm so glad you're doing ok, and your recent list touched my heart. had some destructive thoughts and almost did some horrible things to myself, so it's nice to see someone who went even further than me safely recover. Thanks for being cool and being one of the only open DGD fans on this site!

| Joeman82 A Lot Like Birds are pretty damn cool. Really love Conversation Piece and I haven't given No Place more than half a listen yet. The drummer is incredible, and vocals are really good. My fav from them is probably Properties of Friction because of the beautiful spoken word poetry on the second half. So damn powerful.

My favs are Thank You For the Venom, Famous Last Words, Our Lady of Sorrows, Demolition Lovers, Hang Em High, I Never Told You What I Do..., House of Wovles, Honey, This Mirror..., Sleep, Mama, My Way Home Is Through You, and Bulletproof Heart to name a few. Gerard Way's story telling throughout all of his lyrics is quite amazing, and overall I think they get an undeserved bad wrap for some reason. They're awesome.

| Joeman82 I gave instant gratification another spin recently, and oh my god, Jon mess is incredible on that album. He steals the show for sure especially on songs like Storke God, and On the Run when he's given a lengthy time to scream without Tilian.

| Joeman82 What do you expect from Johnny? One of my favorite performances of them is when the original line up was back for a couple shows before DBM one, it's on YouTube, Johnny is drunk off his ass, he messes up the lyrics to practically every song, but he still sounds so beautiful. It's a damn shame he couldn't get over his demons because he's so talented, and I love both DBMs.
