  • Divaman normaloctagon originally listed The Moody Blues' "I Never Thought I'd Live to Be a Million", but then he changed it.
    May 6 10:22 PM
  • Divaman Aw, I didn't guess it. Thought you might have gone for "Her Majesty". I seriously considered "Do You Think It's Alright?", but it's really just an intro to "Uncle Ernie", so I passed.
    May 6 09:58 PM
  • Divaman Let me see if you pick the one I think you're gonna pick.
    May 6 09:25 PM
  • Divaman Say zak, have you got a song for SOTD this month? The theme is songs under a minute long.
    May 6 05:09 AM
  • NorthernSkylark I?m on my second spin today and somehow it?s even better this time around. I can hardly believe my ears. It might just be a modern day classic, Zak. It?s like listening to pet sounds for the first time and being totally in awe of the brilliant musicianship. Except that this was released just a few days ago and yet it sounds like it could have been around forever. I can honestly say that I haven?t been this excited by a release in over a decade. I?m just lost for words. **** it I?m 5?ing it.
    April 30 09:51 AM
  • NorthernSkylark Hey Zak my man. Hope you?re doing well? Check this one out: Bruno Pernadas - Private Reasons. It?s an aoty contender for me right now.
    April 29 05:30 PM
  • Look at this band name, what a coincidence. Superb album. I need to listen to their other album.
    April 28 10:16 PM
  • Jethro42 Album has an extra song named ''Nattfiolen'', the t/t. It wasn't included in the album for a lack of space. If I were you, I'd try pt1 number 15. The suite in particular. Cheers!
    April 26 10:13 PM
  • Jethro42 pt 1 number 10 if you don't mind a German dude who sings in English, and the production is so so. In Spotify, it's a remastered version. I will find out.
    April 26 08:56 PM
  • Divaman Ah. I get it. Slow today. (And every day.)
    April 26 08:46 PM
  • Jethro42 Get up and walk lol. Listen to this song; Do you like it? I'm gonna find you something you like. If not, I'll give you Regal Worm. Stay tuned.
    April 26 08:26 PM
  • Divaman vulgar?
    April 26 08:20 PM
  • Divaman Wasn't fully truthful about attending a Morrissey concert, though. My wife got tickets to see him at an outdoor show a few years ago the same year we saw the Johnny Marr show later that fall. I wouldn't have bought them myself, but I'd have definitely gone with her if I didn't have a work conflict. She went with a friend and enjoyed it -- that night, he was in a good mood and DIDN'T storm off the stage early.
    April 26 07:12 PM
  • Jethro42 sup man. I feel you stick on Regal Worm. Where are you from there?
    April 26 06:31 PM
  • Jethro42 Please, don't touch. Lol. But seriously, it's a fun album A to Z. It's complex music turned to an accessible way. Drums are mostly in 4/4, vocals are often spoken words, but the music all around is, like you said, quite mental. I'm not surprised you'd approach that album. It's an instant winner to me as well. So let's toss a coin. Life is rough...
    April 25 02:45 PM
  • Sinternet went fine mate thanks, nothing that much interesting to report as 100 responses can't draw too meaningful a conclusion and it was kind of a minor assignment anyway, but i guess more people than i would have expected said they often listen to the original artist of a sample after hearing it in another song, which was pretty neat
    April 24 11:21 PM
  • Divaman They really were. And certainly one of the classic songwriting teams.
    April 24 10:46 PM
  • Divaman Hi zak. It took a while, but The Smiths' writeup is now up. Hopefully, it's vaguely coherent. As always, it's at
    April 24 09:18 PM
  • Pheromone yeah mate
    April 19 03:27 PM
  • DoofDoof Super League and Jose need the same day - not a lot to get behind in football right now. Just money. If Kane goes what Is the identity of spurs right now?
    April 19 11:32 AM
  • Pheromone yeah, tis the one, appears to be making slow but sure waves. i wrote a soppy ol review to it if you wanna sling hatred to me over on that there sput page ;)
    April 16 01:38 PM
  • Pheromone check that for those i love, not sure it's up your street but it's a heartbreaker
    April 16 01:10 PM
  • BigPleb Hahaha the same story here pal. Said I was gonna leave it for the weekend and ended up going straight my local after work. Was there till later than planned as well so Tuesday was rough haha.
    April 15 09:44 AM
  • BigPleb Ey up lad, been back the boozer yet?
    April 15 09:38 AM
  • Pheromone That's insane - idk if it's just the age / stage of my life but id need a damn lot more set of hands for that one. Still, should be a natural buzz just being in a pub garden given the circumstances. Yeah, I really liked it when I heard it but I've had no desire to return since I rec'd you.
    April 8 05:02 PM
  • Pheromone where you going on the 12th lad
    April 8 04:45 PM
  • Pheromone put it there in sput n mind
    April 7 08:18 PM
  • Pheromone where's that strap 5 mate
    April 7 12:40 PM
  • Pheromone I'm good mate. Bit fed up, bit bored but everyone is - couple of days of the sun is lovely though.
    March 29 11:30 PM
  • Pheromone rec - Madrugada Industrial Silence
    March 27 11:17 AM
  • Pheromone how much do you dislike the new antlers
    March 27 11:10 AM
  • Divaman How are YOU doing?
    March 11 08:33 PM
  • Divaman Thanks. It's basically good. Just had a couple of major projects/issues on the job, and now that those have been dealt with, I'm trying to catch back up on the regular stuff.
    March 11 06:22 PM
  • Divaman Hi Zak. No, I haven't. I've been slammed on my job for the last couple of weeks, so I've had to put the blog on hold.
    March 11 06:10 PM
  • anatelier It?s a bloody belter isn?t it
    March 5 04:31 PM
  • Pheromone the new strap is aoty contender
    March 5 04:03 PM
  • Pheromone grandpa of southend
    March 4 06:58 PM
  • Divaman Hi Zak. Have you got a song for us this month? The theme is weather.
    March 4 05:34 AM
  • Pheromone girls of summer
    March 3 09:26 PM
  • Divaman I'll be writing about The Smiths next in my Favorite Artists series on my blog. I'll send you the link when it's done.
    February 26 01:39 AM
  • DoofDoof Not sure whether to laugh or cry over spurs being so saddled with debt we couldnt ditch Jose even if we wanted to
    February 17 01:13 PM
  • DoofDoof I needed a sput break because I was becoming a bit of a confrontational arse for a bit back then - then got quite nervous about the pregnancy because two women Katie works with had really late 6 or 7 month miscarriages and then 2 months ago one of her close school friends had a second kid and he was born with downs, so a lot of tears over all that stuff. But feeling in a good place to come back now, a load of people I missed chatting to here, not least your good self !
    February 17 01:06 PM
  • DoofDoof ello mate, had a long break from the ol sput - put up a little list just explaining I had a lockdown baby ! a little daughter, so loving life right now - hating spurs obviously, but loving life
    February 16 07:06 PM
  • Pheromone hahah i hate and love you
    February 15 07:18 PM
  • Pheromone did you ever check out Anat's new album? It's super good
    February 15 07:14 PM
  • Pheromone this game is killing me
    February 10 10:36 PM
  • Pheromone Yeah I've really warmed on him recently - I was in tears at his bit about throwing up after Jesus walks him home yday
    February 2 09:19 AM
  • Pheromone I ****ing love this bit.
    February 1 06:05 PM
  • Trifolium Hello zak! I think you might like this, given our sometimes quite similar tastes. It's one of my all-timers, super warm and jazzy and lovely and not at all arrogant.
    January 25 01:27 PM
  • Pheromone Their first 3 are the only ones really worth checking; SiA is class, but it's the worst of the 3. I'm working on a top 100 list right now for a bit of fun and it's looking like the pinback s/t is gonna be at 5, so that's the one.
    January 24 04:42 PM
  • Pheromone listen to pinback dude, they are top 5 bands for me
    January 24 04:38 PM
  • Pheromone what's your opinion on white light / white heat??
    January 23 01:24 PM
  • Egarran Sweet! Yeah it was 92 for me too. What a ****ing year.Definitely look at some other of his videos, you guys seem to have a lot in common.
    January 18 06:08 PM
  • Egarran I think you will like this:
    January 16 03:28 PM
  • Shemson Yeah I didn?t find much on the soundtrack I liked but unless you?re driving around loads and choosing particular radio stations the normal background music fits the mood very nicely. Not quite as incredible as The Witcher 3 vibes but totally fits the future tech vibe.
    January 10 10:52 PM
  • Shemson Hey mate, that Fightstar thread moved on quick so here?s my answer on Cyberpunk. I?m playing on six year old Xbox one and I think it rules. Occasionally if I?m driving full speed it?ll freeze for a second or two and it?s crashed twice in about 25 hours of gameplay. It basically reminds me of when Skyrim or Witcher 3 came out, bit buggy but awesomely immersive... just make sure to save regularly until it?s fully patched!
    January 10 05:11 PM
  • Pheromone *bale two footed in the first minute*
    January 10 01:18 PM
  • Pheromone lol I could imagine your speech. Something about how the the game is gone and the passion lies solely at the feet of the non-league players, against one of the money hungry faces of the prem. A motivating speech for sure. Lose 29-0.
    January 10 12:59 PM
  • Pheromone By the way, just for my thoughts on the match. Marine has been a lovely fairytale story getting this far i want us to spank them 20-0
    January 10 12:14 PM
  • Pheromone I went for West Ham v Canvey and it was a great time time, I should make more of an effort to get down there.
    January 10 11:43 AM
  • Pheromone Haha that doesn't surprise me coming from you - we've been class so far though, raised over 100,000 on their virtual match-day tickets. Plus, I don't think I could live down being beat by an 8th tier team, especially after Colchester last year. You ever been to a Canvey game? They're in the same league
    January 10 11:15 AM
  • Divaman Say zak, have you got a Song of the Day for us for January? This month's theme is "songs that make you euphoric".
    January 8 02:33 AM
  • TheSpaceMan yeah that song is just something else. that was the last performance of the band before the frontman died RIP. thx for giving it a chance
    December 28 10:42 PM
  • TheSpaceMan
    December 28 08:18 PM
  • TheSpaceMan haha no worries! i still have it saved on my copy paste clipboard
    December 28 08:17 PM
  • TheSpaceMan should start you right at the solo. magical moment in time wish i was there
    December 28 06:50 PM
  • Pheromone Damn that's a nice haul. Would've thought you'd have the first copy of LAGWAFIS. Mine was the black eyes s/t LP ive been raving about all year - my mum had to go on discogs to get it and she reckons it was the hardest site she's ever had to navigate lol
    December 26 02:10 PM
  • Pheromone how was your christmas? did you get the devil and god are raging inside me vinyl you've been dreaming of for years?
    December 26 01:42 PM
  • Pheromone merry christmas zak dude
    December 25 05:37 AM
  • ieatbabies795 You. I like you.
    December 23 07:17 PM
  • ChoccyPhilly It's a total s***show. I definitely don't intend to spend christmas alone but my family of 3 are just down the road from me. Feel like we're about to head into total anarchy with just how stupid our govt has been. Best of you to as well, mate
    December 19 06:19 PM
  • ChoccyPhilly Thoughts on this tier 4 nonsense?
    December 19 05:09 PM
  • Pheromone It's a dead set certain for whenever I trip or what have you - just insanely beautiful. Might prefer the piano version of E. Knievel, ykno. Let me know what you think of it
    December 17 01:58 PM
  • Pheromone Haha, well it's only right given you were the one who rec'd me sophtware slump all those years ago - it's a charming release
    December 17 01:50 PM
  • Pheromone have you heard the grandaddy sophtware... on a wooden piano ?
    December 17 01:22 PM
  • Pheromone - the state of it
    December 8 09:23 PM
  • Titan have you tried Hogarth era Marillion yet? there are quite a few musical masterpiece's in there bro....
    December 7 08:18 PM
  • Pheromone lol actually a really good comparison - but me and you are often on different sides of the coin when it comes to kinda-bombastic s***
    December 1 03:56 PM
  • Pheromone For sure. On a different note, I remember a while back you wanted some weird s*** thrown your way rec-wise. I found this 2003 sheffield post-punk (but kinda not) album just then, Joeyfat - The House Of The Fat and ****ing hell, it's hitting the spot. I can't tell if you'll love it or hate it but give it a listen
    December 1 03:41 PM
  • Pheromone I agree for The Beatles. My old man reckons his favourite member is Ringo though, which automatically means i respect your old man essex opinion significantly more than him ; )
    December 1 03:06 PM
  • Pheromone zak go onto the john lennon thread i just bumped - i wanna hear your opinion on what i said, the album has blown my balls in the worst way possible.
    December 1 01:20 PM
  • someone I'm Gay, Dad
    November 24 02:27 PM
  • MrSirLordGentleman Zak bro, that Opeth avatar made me laugh way harder than it should have
    November 22 11:57 PM
  • Trifolium Haha didn't know shoutboxes bleeped that out!
    November 21 01:18 PM
  • Trifolium By the way nice, see that you've rated Kiasmos and **** Buttons. The latter especially is a personal fave.
    November 21 01:18 PM
  • Trifolium Oooh dude he is so good! Super glad you checked him, totally worth checking his other albums as well. So tastefully played. His live one, Slowboat, has only recently been reissued so I finally own a physical copy haha!
    November 21 01:09 PM
  • Pheromone yeah im doing as alright as it gets in this lockdown world - uni's a stress rn but it was always gonna be. you working?
    November 12 05:15 PM
  • Pheromone meet me outside the bas spoons mate gonna shank you
    November 12 01:33 PM
  • Divaman Yeah, it's a pretty good month.
    November 8 11:40 PM
  • Divaman Have you got a SOTD for us this month? The theme is celestial bodies.
    November 7 04:12 PM
  • Titan indeed bro.....first 4 albums......cram it man
    November 5 06:28 PM
  • Titan
    November 5 05:39 PM
  • Divaman Yeah, I don't think they're even selling a digital version of it, just a vinyl version and a CD version. I'm waiting for the CD, but in the interim, I've been listening to it on YouTube.
    October 25 06:23 PM
  • Divaman Been listening to the new Hawkwind. It's not as good, although the tracks near the end are stronger.
    October 25 01:55 AM
  • tectactoe Good deal, glad you enjoyed it. You're right - those guys are something special. 3 for 3, if you ask me.
    October 20 12:54 AM
  • NorthernSkylark Yeah it's my aoty too, can't see anything surpass it this year. but the baxter dury one was pretty damn good too.
    October 19 11:34 AM
  • NorthernSkylark the day john kennedy died is the second best song about john kennedy's death i've heard this year.
    October 19 11:27 AM
  • NorthernSkylark I'm doing fine, all work and no play you know. How about you? It's not his best album but it's prob a top 5 one for me.
    October 19 11:24 AM
  • NorthernSkylark Hey zak my man, have you ever heard the blue mask by LOU REED? It rocks and bops and rules! Give it a spin and have a fine day overseas.
    October 19 11:00 AM
  • tectactoe Awesome, let me know what you think. The sput average is bollocks.
    October 18 11:12 PM
  • tectactoe I know you like THE UNNATURAL WORLD - have you heard Have a Nice Life?s SEA OF WORRY from last year? I liked it a lot at the time but it has grown on me even more this year. Bloody fantastic record. Killer opening track. Thing you?d love it if you haven?t spun it already.
    October 18 10:52 PM
  • SandwichBubble Thanks man. And yeah, there's a chance that it's some kind of Andy Kaufman-esque death hoax setup or something, but I'd rather take it earnestly rather than regret it later. Better to look a fool if that were the case anyway.
    October 8 08:06 PM
  • Divaman I'm still blown away it took me so long to catch on to these guys.
    October 7 02:01 AM
  • Divaman It's just funny to me to find a '70s band this good this late in my life that I wasn't previously familiar with. These guys got practically no airplay over here, at least not on the stations I listened to. I vaguely remember the tiniest bit of airplay of Warrior, but that's it.
    October 4 05:50 PM
  • Divaman I'm just getting started with them myself. I had heard Warrior at the Edge of Time last year, which was great. I heard Hall of the Mountain Grill, which I liked, but not as much. Same for Road too Utopia. But now I've been listening to Quark, Strangeness and Charm, which is also great.
    October 4 04:23 PM
  • Divaman So how do you feel about Hawkwind? Because I think they might be the best band that never got any airplay over here.
    October 4 01:05 AM
  • unclereich dude get a fxckin avatar you lazy bloke????? ???
    October 3 03:28 PM
  • tectactoe Nice rating on that Slowdive album. Stunning record. Almost as good as 'Souvlaki' imo.
    September 16 12:01 PM
  • JohnnyoftheWell heh, yeah this one got a little bit weird - much more obligatory bollocks in the next one, should see some sparks fly
    September 9 09:27 AM
  • JohnnyoftheWell oi come vote in the contest for idiot musics
    September 9 09:15 AM
  • dedex bit of history if you're interested:
    August 12 03:22 PM
  • DoofDoof I was impressed - they added in the alt rock and the Joy Division atmosphere in there, they stand out among the conveyor belt post punk out there right now for me :/ -Will try the Raymond
    August 4 04:21 PM
  • DoofDoof Also, weirdly the new Psychedelic Furs isnt bad at all lol
    August 4 06:32 AM
  • Divaman Me too zak.
    August 2 06:28 PM
  • Divaman Hey zak. Your song scored highest in July's SOTD thingy. You have been officially covered in glory. (You might want to check out the list for August, and try to go for two in a row.)
    August 1 10:36 PM
  • DoofDoof New Fontaines D.C. is a stunner :D
    July 31 07:50 AM
  • ChoccyPhilly in case you werent aware mate
    July 28 08:35 PM
  • Pikazilla Sup, zak! Check out Enslaved - Axioma Ethica Odini, Paradise Lost - Obsidian and Dissection - Storm the Light's Bane :)
    July 24 11:52 AM
  • tectactoe Hell yeah! Definitely give their previous LP a shot eventually (One Eye Sees Red); it?s much more jazz oriented, but I really dig how the new one incorporates more traditional rock structures and thought it?d be up your alley too! Cheers mate.
    July 23 03:26 PM
  • tectactoe Lonker See - "Hazma". Check it. I think you will really dig it, mate. Jazzy, neo-psych space rock. The first two tracks are a good showcase of the album's two tones (neo-psych v. jazz rock).
    July 21 10:06 PM
  • DoofDoof Thank god 'Murder Most Foul' is awesome enough to justify those 17 minutes of tape
    June 29 01:41 PM
  • DoofDoof The first round of games was lol - glorified training games, zilch intensity water breaks
    June 28 10:11 PM
  • DoofDoof Seem to always catch a bit of City playing whenever I randomly watch the footy, just see Sterling miss a few chances and then switch over. Caught the two Spurs games...theres some hope. Theres a squad there forming, Lo Celso looks absolute class. Kane still trundling about though. United look like they could yet be a decent side unfortunately.
    June 28 10:09 PM
  • DoofDoof Tried the Dylan again - it is great, starting to get more in the mood for it. Bill Callahan is releasing anew one this year too, will be interesting how they stack up for me -bumping the Dylan to a 4for now after three goes
    June 28 01:14 PM
  • anatelier Nice one, I definitely hear the resemblance. Loved his solo LP from last year
    June 27 06:43 AM
  • DoofDoof I will get in the mood for it at some point but right now it seems a chore to revisit. Its probably amazing lol
    June 26 12:01 PM
  • anatelier How'd you get on with the Cherry Ghost lad?
    June 26 07:20 AM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts LOL thats shocking to me. I like The Smiths. I don't listen to them a tonne but every time I do or any time something comes on while Im out and about I like it a lot. Im a sucker for most 80s british indie rock, post-punk, and new wave type stuff that i've heard.
    June 24 07:01 PM
  • Egarran We should have more Hitler statues tho
    June 24 02:55 PM
  • Pheromone Got a new review up Zak bro. I can?t see you liking the album, mind
    June 21 10:30 PM
  • anatelier Ever listened to Cherry Ghost? I hold them in a similar esteem to Doves
    June 20 12:32 PM
  • SowingSeason Did you end up giving Azier any more chances? Was pleasantly surprised when I saw you enjoyed it.
    June 20 12:17 PM
  • unclereich this whole time I thought you were grim fandango
    June 19 12:21 PM
  • unclereich is that you you old brit
    June 19 12:08 PM
  • unclereich this charming man
    June 19 12:01 PM
  • Trifolium Ah ok, that's fair! Never heard of St Etienne, will give them a go. Who knew there would be something new in this for me!
    June 18 09:20 AM
  • Trifolium zak do you like Stereolab? I only see an Oscillations... 2.5, never heard it before but their actual albums are SO GOOD I cannot imagine you hating them.
    June 18 08:46 AM
  • Divaman Let me know if you like it all. I'm guessing you won't. But really, the 2010's wasn't a great decade for music imo.
    June 17 08:02 PM
  • Divaman Yeah, it's a mix of metal, prog rock and Celtic music.
    June 17 04:22 PM
  • Divaman Hi Zak. For the 2010's you mean, right? It was Nightwish's Endless Songs Most Beautiful. Yeah, we're all safe right now. How about you?
    June 16 10:36 PM
  • NorthernSkylark It's kinda exciting, it's like something just clicked in my head and now i'm able to listen to jazzy tunes all day and appreciate what it brings to the table
    June 13 07:27 PM
  • NorthernSkylark Indeed. I hope I'm beginning to see the light! Will give that one a whirl soon. Bless ya.
    June 11 01:23 PM
  • NorthernSkylark I'm not big too on jazz, i never could get into the orchestrated chaos as i've heard it dubbed, besides kind of blue which is so smooth and slow and cool. But i've been spinning Hallsall's Fletcher Moss Park for a couple of days now and now i'm actually digging the hell out of him! He's an absolute treasure man.
    June 11 08:28 AM
  • DoofDoof Early on he hid his accent - check the first album. Think he wanted to be his own man but he cant escape he does sound a lot like his dad. Absolute quality album though, thought he had got stuck on a level below it, a lot of 6 or 7 out of 10 albums, this one is close to a 9/10
    June 3 04:32 PM
  • FR33L0RD Hey Zaq, agreed, we are too old for this s....You definitely one of the honorable in here defending your rightful conviction
    May 30 05:15 AM
  • Scheumke No it's just the new single 'Let the Good Be Better'. The album that we have is pretty damn outdated when it comes to the music that we make. Thanks buddy!
    May 29 02:58 PM
  • Scheumke Hey buddy! My band's got a new single out and I would love to hear your thoughts:
    May 29 01:12 PM
  • DoofDoof I remember being 18 and throwing a traffic cone at a police car shouting ?**** the police? after a few ciders - two years later and I looked back and thought ?what a berk?
    May 29 08:12 AM
  • FR33L0RD Zaq, we cannot argue intelligently with a young angry mob. Dont worry. Your right on the whole.Have a great day
    May 29 07:36 AM
  • DoofDoof Honestly if Joe Strummer was singing over the music the album would be decent lol - I would even take the berk from Bad Religion on vocals ahead of Jeff. The music is alright about 50% of the time, vocals are mostly terrible
    May 23 06:05 AM
  • DoofDoof His solo work is more palatable than the Arrogant Sons/BTMI
    May 23 05:56 AM
  • DoofDoof He is about as good as emo gets - better than Weezer in the year 2020 all day long. Still a bit s*** obviously
    May 23 05:55 AM
  • DoofDoof They have made some stunningly boring albums ;)
    May 22 08:10 PM
  • DoofDoof Anathema but no Paradise Lost?
    May 22 02:26 PM
  • DoofDoof King for a Day has 5 or 6 classic tunes on it
    May 9 03:56 PM
  • DoofDoof 'King for a Day' same rating as 'The Slow Rush' - ouch
    May 9 02:48 PM
  • Divaman Hey Zak, have you got a song for us this month?
    May 5 10:09 PM
  • budgie love it
    May 2 01:19 PM
  • budgie rate first roxy music cmon
    May 2 10:27 AM
  • DoofDoof The Baxter Dury and the Clem Snide are the two that impressed as 'most improved' based on past reputation. Rustin I thought was a little bit weaker than the previous but will try it again next week
    April 19 01:27 PM
  • DoofDoof They are good backing vocals. I might be being overly harsh considering I gave the new Rustin Man the benefit of the doubt with a 3.5 and after two listen it didnt do much more for me
    April 19 12:54 PM
  • DoofDoof Big Ed? Backing vocals innit. Bit of a plodder but it was alright in parts. Nowt offensive.
    April 19 12:46 PM
  • Deadwing2112 Thank you. Greatly appreciate it!
    April 15 07:34 PM
  • DoofDoof In the field of recent films about cult loons, for pure stupidity and the resulting enjoyment, Id still rate Nic Cage's recent 'Mandy' above it
    April 14 08:47 AM
  • DoofDoof Midsommar was alright, at least the bear barbecue lad got a final leg over. Im calling it Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets the Wicker Man
    April 13 06:20 PM
  • DoofDoof I have Midsommer ready on amazon but the wife doesnt do horror so need to find a time to watch it alone lol - Tiger King is more evidence that only yanks have that certain type of crazy.m, the bloke is a big cat beetlejuice only more grubby
    April 10 10:25 PM
  • DoofDoof Thanks, hope you are doing ok out there, know you must be busy. Biggest worry in my life right now in isolation is running out of episodes of Tiger King on Netflix. Try the Clem Snide, give it a few goes - might hate it but I think theres something there
    April 10 09:35 PM
  • DoofDoof is there more to life than Opeth, yes or no?
    April 10 05:54 PM
  • Divaman OK my friend. Thanks anyway. We're ready to roll, and will start on Friday.
    April 8 07:03 PM
  • Divaman Hi Zak. Are you up for a folk tournament?
    April 8 04:05 PM
  • Cygnatti i dig it, but it was kinda hard getting through the first parts of it, just like you said. got way better as it went on for me.
    April 5 12:59 AM
  • Cygnatti you prob already know this one but i heard this and it just felt like something of your speed:
    April 4 03:58 AM
  • Muhlysa oh god. Ages ago when i was looking for ' post-hardcore' . This band is like a blend of math rock and post-punk with super aggression. The reason i posted it on your page was because i saw how much you destroyed people for liking Black Midi . Which was so enjoyable. However , Daniel Striped Tiger made me think of what Black Midi was trying to do with all pretension stripped away. So , I thought you'd get something out of it.
    March 31 06:40 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Agreed, wish I'd never put a finger print on any of that s*** to begin with. Nice to be free of it tho
    March 30 06:41 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts In all seriousness though I just dont have any easily accessible recent pictures. I purged social media from my life and that's one of the consequences.
    March 30 06:37 PM
  • Lord(e)Po)))ts Lol no I dont need validation from 19 and 40 year old men on the internet to feel good about my striking looks.
    March 30 06:32 PM
  • Pheromone cheers pal
    March 30 06:27 PM
  • Pheromone something lyrical but a bit heavier to bide me through
    March 30 06:14 PM
  • Pheromone Check John Maus - Songs. Bit scrappy at times but in terms of off-the-walls synth it hits a spot - 'Just Wait Till Next Year' is a highlight. Hit me up with a rec in return, I've been awful lately at finding motivation to find stuff
    March 30 06:06 PM
  • Pheromone you too man, it's pretty crazy seeing the streets as empty as they've been - hope you'll be off work soon x
    March 30 05:51 PM
  • Muhlysa I think you'd like this
    March 29 03:01 AM
  • DoofDoof At the mercy of science - some sort of stopgap treatment that at least halves the fatalities and an antibody test popping up in the next two months and it might all peter out. Without at least one of those things it will be biblically bad as there?s no way you can put a population on lockdown for a year. You cant even realistically cocoon (shield!) the aged for over a year surely?
    March 28 11:34 PM
  • DoofDoof Only two listens of the Brass so far but I can see how it got the stamp of ?real deal?
    March 28 09:56 PM
  • DoofDoof How bad do you think this Covid s***e is going to get?
    March 28 09:54 PM
  • DoofDoof It is impressive though, 'authentically retro' I think they call it
    March 28 04:53 PM
  • DoofDoof Shaft theme music?
    March 28 04:40 PM
  • Pheromone you missing basvegas during your quarantine bro?
    March 27 07:59 PM
  • BigHans There were 5 really good songs. The rest was unadulterated s***e.
    March 5 09:47 PM
  • BigPleb Ey up pal, my heads still spinning off that spanking from Watford.
    March 2 06:53 PM
  • Josh D. hello, I just published a new album. Thought I'd share with people that have given me positive feedback on this here website.
    March 2 01:06 PM
  • Egarran Someone made a Culture reading order, I appreciate it:
    February 25 02:41 PM
  • parksungjoon oh wow, haven't listened to that in years. i'll have to jam it again soon in your honour!
    February 23 12:20 PM
  • parksungjoon too emotionally attached to it to say anything else. been with me through a lot.
    February 23 12:12 PM
  • parksungjoon the wall, mate, gotta be
    February 23 12:07 PM
  • parksungjoon
    February 22 09:05 PM
  • DoofDoof please dont 5 the Grimes :D
    February 22 08:14 PM
  • Feather I can not find any hint that that is even a real band, what you on
    February 13 07:34 PM
  • Feather not sure i am understanding your palpable fury response lol
    February 11 07:03 PM
  • TheSpaceMan zak you know i love you like a brother, but that loveless 2 is legitimately straining
    February 8 06:44 AM
  • Dylan620 Scott Lavene 'Broke' *
    February 8 03:26 AM
