Lykotonon Promethean Pathology
I'll try my best to summarize what to expect from this exceptionally diverse and weird (in the best way) record: Novices of Dodheimsgard (think of their trance-infused monster, 666 International) and Blut Aus Nord and Wormlust (for the slower kind of psychedelic black metal). Haunting riffs, odd time signatures, weird additional rhythmical elements which often include hard techno and industrial synth sequences, vibrating noises and whatsoever... oh, and oriental melody sections too here and there! Imagine these all at once! Potential grower.

Sodom Better Off Dead
Very-very fun jam, lots of great riffs, solos and a quite enjoyable prodution. I sense a grower here, but based on my first impressions, this was a good "everyday thrash" record. Also it deserves some bonus point for the artwork, I really like it.

Skhemty Sunrise on the Old Kingdom
I miss Anubis... But at least we have Skhemty! Sunrise on the Old Kingdom is also one interesting piece following the ancient Egypt-inpsired path within dungeon synth, so by default it deserves some attention due to its very exotic sound. Altogether, I believe if it'd be a bit more consistent (some songs were a bit less memorable), then I could love this record much-much more.

Midnight Odyssey / Aeon Winds Aeon Odyssey
Very nice split, both parts sound great! Perhaps I liked side Aeon Winds a bit more, especially their cover of "Journey Across the Stars" was my favourite.

SOO Cuirasse de Sons
Not sure what is this exactly... Cosmic black metal combined with electronics and perhaps with bits of post-rock? I don't know!! All I know this kinda riffs, has a very weird spacey atmosphere, and makes me want to dance.

Oublieth Arcanes
Ethereal, slow and magical. Not exactly dungeon synth, it's more of an ambient/electronic release in the vein of Klaus Schulze and Vangelis. But it's still brilliant!! Especially I'm in love with "La Frontière de la Nuit".

Anti Beatam Mortem Exspectans
Kind of a "Best Of Anti", containing basically my favourites songs. With the less known song, "Beatam Mortem Exspectans", the final tracklist is one of the strongest DSBM packages.

  • Voivod Hi man, if I were you, I would submit "S.O.O" or more simply "SOO". Go for the second option, the simpler the better. If duplicate band pages arise, they will be spotted sooner or later.

  • Demon of the Fall Ashenspire? like if White Ward were actually cohesive / good. I'm at a loss to be honest.
