 | Valdrin Throne of the Lunar Soul Moonlight Sorcery, but it's actually USBM. Very melodic atmoblack, and interestingly with a vocalist who sounds exactly like Johannes Andersson from Tribulation. | 4.0 11.29.23 | | Mary Lattimore Goodbye, Hotel Arkada It was a great surprise for me, but I totally fell in love with the vibe of this release. It's a quite minimalistic, harp-driven ambient release with very gentle choruses in it (without any lyrics). Ethereal, dreamy and not really droney -- so it was quite good background music for me. | 3.5 11.27.23 | | Thorvroht Frostbound Reveries Very-very chill dark ambient / winter synth release, which flows in a slow pace. (From this aspect, I dug this lot more than Aindulmedir, for example.) | 3.0 11.23.23 | | Paysage d'Hiver Einsamkeit
| 3.5 11.23.23 | | Blut Aus Nord Hallucinogen Stupid title aside (this is not psychedelic at all), this is a a sick album! This sticks out the Blut Aus Nord discography, since there were no hints in the past about stepping onto the path of cosmic black metal -- but who cares, if the result is this amazing! One thing: "Nomos Nebuleam" was definitely the pinnacle on this album (10/10 song), so that should have been the closer track, in my opinion. | 4.5 11.15.23 | | Blut Aus Nord Memoria Vetusta I - Fathers Of The Icy Ages The only truly excellent melodic Blut Aus Nord album. In my opinion, the quality of the Memoria Vetusta series drops by 0.5 by each album -- and not just because this has the best production (which is still thin). | 4.0 11.15.23 | | Blut Aus Nord Lovecraftian Echoes Forget that nonsense which says this supposed to be the continuation of the experiment phase started with The Work Which Transforms God. Hell no. It's actually the "pre-"Disharmonium... release. Not quite there, but it gave a few hints what to expect from them later. | 3.5 11.14.23 |
 | naughtcturnal just saw your soundoff on that 2nd Fluids album. For some reason I was reminded of it this week. Awful awful intro where did they even get that s***?? Should?ve put a warning on the album cover let alone even use that intro at all. Disgusting. Had to vent to someone about it
